You made me curious, so I had a look back at my very first posts and found a few gems:

I'm not sure of that, but my feeling is that Obama's election means the beginning of a long period of democrat government, like the 1932-1968 period was. Obama will also win his re-election, and his successor ( Biden, Clinton - why not Edwards ? - ) will win, not by a landslide, but a solid majority ( 54, 55% like the two last Roosevelt re-elections ). I imagine a map like this :

In terms of election data, Oklahoma is more republican than Massachusetts is democrat ( OK: Mc65%, MA: Ob62% ). However, I think that democratic party is going to be stronger than republican. So a Republican landslide seems to be impossible, whereas democrats could in an extraordinary situation win Oklahoma with a tight margin.

Why not Edwards ? Lot of things can happen in 8 years... If it's not Edwards, it will be Clinton or Biden, but I'm sure that we'll have at least 12 years of democratic government.

Obama : 417 E.V.
Bush : 121 E.V.

Certainly Obama landslide. Obama wins Louisiana because of remembrances of Hurricane Katrina.

And this one wins the prize for hilariously bad wording:

But watergate scandal would be so enormous to don't prevent Nixon's victory.

So yeah. Those are indeed pretty stupid. And even though I do feel a bit of shame for them, remember I was a 15-year-old kid who had just gotten interested in US politics by fascination for Obama. Things have changed quite a bit since... Tongue

My prognostication skills were pretty poor in the years before I was born:

Muskie's got the Democratic nomination in the bag.

Nixon will probably leave office with some of the highest job approval numbers ever recorded.

No idea who this Carter is.  The Democratic nominee will probably be Bayh or Udall.

Carter's finished.  Ford's momentum is unstoppable.  I will now accept my accolades.

I can think of quite a few.  The first one that comes to mind is calling Tammy Baldwin and Janet Napolitano space bikers.

LOL, quite a few from my first two months!

Is this even any question?  And why so many FF votes?  I know he did some good things, but hasn't anybody heard of a little thing called the Holocaust?

Oh right that.

I don't really think it's that big of a deal.  Every leader has his flaws.

I mean, we're talking about the leader that singlehandedly brought Germany out of the Great Depression, restored national confidence to a record high, made German industry the envy of the world, greatly expanded the borders of Germany, started the first anti-smoking campaign in modern world history, was a devout vegetarian, loved animals, had a very sexy stache, and liked IBM products!  You're going to let a just a little tiny genocide of millions of people with the intent to destroy their cultures/race/societies get in the way of that?

Man, drop your little PC book and get educated.  Adolf Hitler was easily the greatest leader of the 20th century!  Thus my FF vote!

The ultra moderate Jive Turkey Party (Howard Stern and Jesus H. Christ) wins an electoral landslide over the Democrats (Barack Obama and Joseph Biden) and the Republicans(Bobby Jindal and Sarah Palin). Everybody wakes up the next day with hangovers and have the munchies. Snack vendors nationwide rejoice.

Mechaman hates morals. Mechaman thinks morals suck balls. Mechaman likes to do lots of speed. Mechaman thinks speed is good. Mechaman likes to have unsafe sexual relations with women who excel in the art of professional sex. Mechaman likes to drink lots of Romulan Ale. Mechaman likes to kill mothaas! Therefore Mechaman thinks morals are subjective.

Vladmir Lenin
Juan Peron
Jerry Springer

Lenin and Peron are FFs?

Jerry Springer is HP?

Oh wait, overthrowing a monarchal authoritarian is an act of freedom. So yeah Lenin would be both and FF and an HP.

Flag burning is free speech. Plus, if it's really cold outside and you need to start a fire......

And I would just like to put this question out there: WHY THE HELL WOULD A STRIP CLUB WANT TO TURN LESBIANS AWAY?

The electorate knocks up Sarah Palin (lol).

There's probably a whole treasure chest of stuff in there.

I wished death to Jimmy Carter-I am ashamed of that. I was, and to a lesser degree, still hold racist views-I am ashamed of that. I suffer anger issues and have lingering biases against certain posters for reasons going back to last year or late 2011-I am ashamed of that.

I have many, many stupid posts, and there is not one that I am NOT ashamed of

Well, mostly because I put Clinton and Cuomo on the same ticket. (Which is of course impossible.)
But the map isn't perfect either.

No, not that. I have anger issues that come from basic loneliness as a result of elementary school bullying which turned into avoidant personality disorder/intense social anxiety as I grew older. I always looked for a group to identify-rednecks looked appealing, until I realized that I am skinny, pale, know nothing about sports, and up until about a year ago, never even fired a gun. So I turned to the neoconfederate crowd, and later, the Tea Party. The South Florida Tea Party is basically a branch of AIPAC, so when my views regarding Ron Paul developed, I quickly became disillusioned with the Israel firsters. Also, basic hate of Obama turned into basic hate of blacks (in particular Haitians) only furthered my descent into what can basically be described as White Nationalist “Third Positionist” views.

Too sum things up, I had three major changes. First, I saw the public repudiation of even the most moderate white nationalists, so I didn’t fully declare myself one. As I slowly turned away from this, I got more and more religious (I attend a Baptist church that supports gay rights and is not the fire and brimstone type place) and finally, joined a major Jewish political figure’s (and a slightly neoconservative hawk at that) campaign for Congress.

I am unashamed about certain things; Enoch Powell is an example. I find Rivers of Blood blunt, but I do believe it has a degree of merit. It is not a skin color thing as much as a basic cultural shift. I see this in America with the press #1 for English stuff, and it, as Simfan put it, tingles my revisionist neoconfederate sense. Another poster eloquently called me a crypto Nazi f[inks]wit.

It’s a psychological issue that stems from emotional vulnerability in short; just a youth thing hopefully.

The poll denial ones, which were stupid. Definitely ashamed of them now. Polls are true unless the votes are counted and they aren't, a la Alberta last year. Tongue

What Polnut said.  I've been exposed to enough racists and their views the past few months just by debating them on other websites (don't ask)... trust me, you want nothing to do with them.
