Missouri seems like a maverick state, like Maine, and I think he would have a good chance of picking up some non-conservative Republicans there. Just enough to scrape by.
Course, if you skew the popular vote 5%, or even 3%, in either direction, states like OR, CO, FL, ME, VA, and IA come into play in addition to the tossups, MO, NV, NM, NH, PA, and OH.

I'd trade MO for PA, otherwise it looks fine.

I'd trade MO for NM and WV than PA. They would probably go for the traditional pro-labor liberal over a moderate.

I'd vote Feingold, and he'd probably win since Brownback is pretty right-wing.

Brownback is the senator closest to my views...unless I don't remember that correctly...but whatever.
Feingold voted against the Patriot Act. He'd sink like a rock.

Brownback is one of my favorite Senators. However, I do like Feingold for the fact that he voted against the Patriot Act. (I think it was 99-1 in the Senate with him as the single no vote.)
I'm a right winger and for the most part am against the Patriot Act. (It's mostly neo-cons who favor it while paleo-cons oppose it.) I do have a compromise though- the Patriot Act would only apply to non-U.S. citizens. U.S. Citizens rights are protected by the Constitution and non-U.S. citizens are far more likely than U.S. citizens to commit acts of terror. (Unfortunately there will always be Timmy McVeigh types out there.)
Whether or not voting against the Patriot Act helps or hurts Feingold depends on his ability to get his message out (as well as the media's willingness to cover it fairly).

Yeah, if they're catching Mohammad Atta types before they board and airline.
The Dems love big government. Why support big government that is working to protect you, rather than just sticking its hand in your pockets, or telling you that you can't smoke (I'm a non-smoker), or can't eat junk-food. C'mon, Big Brother has long been all up in your business.

I am unaware of any government restrictions on what I eat. The smoking thing I believe to be ridiculous, and at least here, is not just Democrat-sponsored.

We don't need the USAPATRIOT Act. We already had the August 6 memo that said Osama wanted to hijack planes. Maybe if Dubya read the memo nothing would hve happened.

Isn't he the only domestic terorist the US has had in the last few decades, and wouldn't it be true the vast majority of terrorists in American history were US citizens?

You don't know Southeast PA and what incredible power it has for the Dems. By the way, I'd campaign quite hard for him down here if he won the nomination.

Its tuff to say whether the vote against the Patriot Act would help him or hurt him. Sure, people want to be safe and probably feel that the Patriot Act helps to keep them safe, but Im sure they dont want to give up their privacy as a tradeoff. The thought of the FBI snooping around without warrants and stuff would probably creep alot of people out. I think Feingolds biggest problem is he is Jewish. I dont know why, but for some reason I think it would hurt it pretty bad. How do you guys think America would react to a Jewish candidate or President?

No, there was also Janet Reno.

SE PA Dems were as energized as ever in 2004 and Kerry only won by about 2-3 points.
