But we don't want to throw out Debs. La Follette has had his chance, Coolidge would be terrible, and Smith is just..meh.

If I'm not mistaken, current polling shows Debs with 45%, Coolidge with 27%, Smith with 18%, and La Follette with 9%, all figures being rounded to the nearest percentage point.
