I generally have a high amount of respect for cops, and I'm sure a lot of LAPD officers are great cops, but as a policie department as a whole... yikes... just way too many issues.

Voted HPD not out of genuine dislike for the police (I actually hold the police in very high regard, and I have no doubts that most of the boys in blue in Los Angeles are decent people just trying to make a living) but because of the recurring issues that the LAPD has had with racism and just doing terrible, shoddy police work.

Just a reminder: The LAPD shot two elderly Asian women because they thought the car they were driving belonged to Dorner. This is one dangerous police department.
