I'd vote Jackson, but my guess is that Coburn would win, but it would be very close.

A Perot-type independent could do very well here.

It wouldn't be close. It'd be a Coburn blowout, because Jesse Jackson is a total creep.

Coburn is only perceived as extreme because of his nutty comments. His positions aren't actually all that out there.

Jesse Jackson is a blabbermouth, questionable, far-left black activist. Not exactly the sort of things swing voters love.

Tom Coburn, assuming he could shut up, seems personable. He would win in a decent landslide, although cities would vote Jackson heavily, and some states (i.e. WA) would vote Democrat.

I say Jackson gets WA, CA, IL, NY, NJ, DE, MD, DC, RI, MA, and VT. ME, CT, and HI are toss-ups. MN could theoretically go Jackson, but that is unlikely.

Depending on how the campaigns are run, I'd either vote for a third party (very likely) or Jackson (very unlikely). I couldn't vote for Coburn.

Jackson would be the first Democrat to break 90% in D.C. Turnout would be poor, increasing only in black areas. No states would see higher turnout, but D.C. would.

I would have voted for Jesse Jackson. Isn't Coburn the guy who said that doctors who give abortions should recieve the death penalty?

He's also the guy who claims we can only let 1 girl at a time go to the bathroom in schools because of "rampant lesbianism".

I don't think turnout would be low.
Many people would be motivated by the notion of keeping one of these candidates as far away from the White House as possible.

It would not be close, Coburn by at least 6 or 8% in popular vote. I voted Coburn too, no way would I vote Jackson, I'd rather have Sharpton than him.

Jackson/Coburn.  Yeah, I'll admit that.
