To hire workers to fill a six year high in new home orders.  Most of the pre-crash labor market for construction is reemployed in other fields and developers cannot find enough new labor.  Pardee Homes in Las Vegas has risen their pay 15% in hopes of attracting work and paying subcontractors more upfront so they do not need to wait for loan approvals to work.

Truly a disaster.  If only a businessman like Romney were in the White House to deal with this crisis.
