As someone who has voted for you in the past, and seen the work you've done when in the Senate, I could not be more happy about your victory, Senator-elect! In addition to returning to Atlasia's most esteemed body, you've managed to win a national election for one position as a conservative candidate, something that hasn't happened in nearly two years, I believe.

(P.S. I would have voted for you if you needed the vote to win. I just enjoy closer elections, so I had to first pref Snowguy.)

Jbrase had the advantage of not being affiliated with a right wing party. I remember voting for him and I think other JCP members may have defected too.

My favorite special at large election, probably even more than the one I won, was Kalwejt vs. Junkie. I never really liked Junkie and he was touted as this unbeatable moderate that was actually just an RPP partisan. Kal won by 3 or 4 votes. We put a lot of effort into that campaign.

I am deeply honored by the trust you have placed in me by electing me again to the Senate of Atlasia... Particularly so considering that my opponents are some of Atlasia's most experienced, qualified, and respected leaders. Thank you to Snowguy and Kalwejt for being honorable opponents and friends- I look forward to working with you both very soon on an issue we all raised during the campaign for the first legislation I plan to submit- it was your ideas which gave me inspiration and gave all of Atlasia a race based on policy and ideas instead of personal negativity that sometimes dominates. You both are two of the finest leaders here and it was an honor to run this race with you!

Thank you dearly to each and every person who placed their trust in me with his vote- I was as surprised as any one at the support I was honored to receive across the ideological and party spectrum. Thank you to you all....it is time for me to EARN your votes and I will spend my time in the Senate advocating for policies and building bridges worthy of the coalition I was blessed to have supporting me in this election. An election is not a reward, but an instruction- I have been instructed to be a positive force in the Senate, bringing people together for the issues which matter to us all...and that is what I will do

My fiancee Wendy thinks I am absolutely nuts for spending any time on an internet board with a bunch of teenagers and college kids- but I will tell you that I am constantly impressed and inspired by the folks on here... some of the smartest guys I know. I learn from you and I will keep learning...thank you for allowing me in this community of yours and I will do my best to prove myself worthy of this honor

Hi folks-

I intended and declared that I would be running for reelection in April to serve a full term. I am very grateful for the trust you all placed in me when you elected me a few weeks ago and am loving my time in the Senate again... as it stands, Matt has just been elected and I see Hagrid and Matt as being more then able to represent the values I was elected on. Hagrid has been and Matt will be an excellent Senator

After conversations between the three of us, we came to the conclusion that my service here in Atlasia is far from over... it simply does not have to include running for the Senate in April. I will be making the most of the weeks I have left in the Senate- and after my term is over, I will share with all of you what the near future entails...
