Oh by the way Kasich line-item vetoed the poll tax in the transportation budget that would have suppressed over 115,000 Ohio college students. While it's nice to know he's stopped (temporarily) from restricting the vote of those who don't vote for him and his party, I hope he doesn't think this is going to make us forget all of the other voter suppression measures (cutting a weak of early voting, making it harder to vote by mail and making it easier for the SoS to purge voters from the voter rolls, etc.) he signed during his last term.

As for fetal heartbeat, it doesn't appear to be getting anywhere. The legislature will be busy through June creating their screw the poor budget, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Kasich and Faber tried to appease the far-right by adding a 20-week abortion ban to the budget.

Only Adam could post about Kasich doing something he liked and still spend 85% of the post bashing him.

You should look at Ohio's state Democratic Party. They keep trying to sabotage the man, and they don't understand why they keep losing to him.

The Ohio Democratic Party has been hilariously incompetent over the last two years in pretty much every way. I mean, their party chairman failed to get endorsed by the UAW and then went on to lose a safe seat to a guy who got indicted for home burglary charges (he was almost certainly framed but that's another discussion Tongue). Their only statewide office holders are Sherrod Brown and one justice on the Ohio State Supreme Court. The Republicans have veto-proof majorities in both houses of the state legislature. They really have to be a candidate for the worst state party in any swing state.

Florida can challenge that.

^

Not a swing state.

The NH GOP are notoriously poorly run as is the quasi swing-state of Minnesota. Ohio has a lousy Dem party, but so does Wisconisn and, notoriously, Florida.
