I just voted like this.. maybe could substitute something else for Colorado, but we get the general idea:



To be honest I doubt I could actually live in California or Nevada (or any non-Pacific Northwest Western state for that matter) due to the chapped lips.

My choices are a little all-over-the-place, and I haven't been in all fifty states, but here goes...

5.  Louisiana
I just want to New Orleans for the first time, and loved it.

4. New York
The Big Apple has its appeal, but I really like the birch tress on the Adirondack hiking trails.

3.  Wyoming
The Grand Tetons are magnificent.

2.  California
Between San Diego, the Parks and Sonoma, I could be happy forever there.

1.  Hawai'i
The incredibly diverse landscapes on the different islands, the swimming and snorkeling, the diversity of the population and the temperatures make it my favorite state.
