Some here think that political views should be taken into consideration by the Mods when considering meting out "punishment," beyond that which if expressed would earn infraction points? Really?  Whatever happened to the First Amendment around here, outside the zone of that which has been defined as infractionable? What ilk is that?  We're just sensible enough not to take whatever it is you are doing seriously.  Why would you ban this pleasant, entertaining fellow, whoever he is?

Because we can. Also because he's a sock. We are a forum governed by rules, not the whim and caprice of mere Mod men, which rules are the loadstone guiding said Mod men as prosecutors and/or defense counsel practicing  before the Nym apex (the judge).  We are not the socialist monarchy for which you so pine. That is why,  your infatuation with your perception of the veneer of geniality affected to date in this cameo appearance of the chronic sock to the contrary notwithstanding.

I hope that helps. Life is beautiful, particularly since it now appears that I will owe no income tax (just self employment tax), for the year 2010.  The complexity of the tax code is a beautiful thing - a veritable work of art, particularly when framed by me.
