Harvard taking up the #14 making-a-run mantle from Davidson earlier in the day.  up four at half despite being -4 in turnover differential

I've got UNM as a Sweet 16 team knocking off Arizona in the 3rd round and losing to Ohio State in the Sweet 16.  I've only lost one Sweet 16 team today, but I don't want to make it two.  Let's pick it up, Lobos!!!

this is why I always have had an aversion to getting heavily involved in the bracket thing, it leads to a perversion of the experience, where perceived and selfish self-interest trumps justice and Beauty.  case-in-point: at a high school party in '06 everyone was actively rooting for tourney favorite #1 Connecticut as upstart #16 Albany took a 50-38 lead early in the second half.

What's wrong with rooting for favorites instead of underdogs?  Unless I actively dislike the team, I'd rather see the teams who are actually good play in the later rounds.

this is fascism.

Yeah, Wisconsin screwed up mine quite a bit. More concerned with Temple right now: a seventeen point lead and dominating performance has dwindled to only an eight point advantage.

Temple just destroyed my first Elite 8 pick...  I may lose another one if Kansas State can't pull it together. Cry

Thanks a lot, K-State...  I just lost another Elite 8 team..

If that weren't enough, I lost another Sweet 16 team in Cincinnati.

It makes me sad when a great team like Missouri last year has one bad game and their whole season goes down in flames, while a bad team like Norfolk State lives to fight another day.

Honestly. I knew Georgetown would do this. They always lay an egg in the tournament.

Don't look now, but #1 Kansas is down by 1 at halftime against #16 Western Kentucky.

Oh, and my bracket is officially dead.

Wouldn't it be sad if the last team to get kicked out of the NCAA Tournament in the state of Kansas is the Wichita State Shockers?

It's obvious that the bench FGCU bench has seen that alley oop play before.

My bracket isn't in bad of a shape as I thought it was.  I've lost 6 of my Sweet 16 teams (Oklahoma State, Cincinnati, Georgetown, NC State, Kansas State, New Mexico) and 3 of my Elite 8 (Kansas State, NC State, Georgetown).  However, my Final 4 teams are all still alive (Louisville, Ohio State, Kansas, Marquette).
