My picks for today's games that were in my original bracket include:

VCU Rams (losing to Kansas in Sweet 16)
Michigan State (losing to Louisville in Elite Cool
Louisville (losing to Ohio State in Final 4)
- I had New Mexico beating Arizona today
- I had Oklahoma State beating St Louis today
Marquette (losing to Ohio State in National Championship)
Gonzaga (losing to the now eliminated Kansas State in Sweet 16)
California (losing to the now eliminated NC State in Sweet 16)

I hope the Heels win today, but I don't have much faith except that Kansas can be a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde type.

The Hilltoppers had Kansas within 7. If the Heels can do any better than a 16 seed...

That's the only thing giving me hope. I don't expect a UNC win, but anything can happen, as we have seen this tournament.

If KU wins, I will have all 4 of my Final 4 teams still alive.

Plus Kansas is the only surviving Big 12 team.  So, as much as I hate to say it, Rock Chalk Jayhawk!!

Love you, Bushie! Smiley

Today, particularly in the second half, KU is reminding the nation why we're a #1 seed and second overall - Rock Chalk Jayhawk! Cheesy

I've been to FGCU. Nice school. I actually had no idea it was even D1.

I can proudly say I had heard of Florida Gulf Coast before the tournament. Then again, I'm a college basketball junkie, so yeah... Tongue

I really don't like Florida, but honestly, part of me wants them to win next weekend. Assuming KU can get by Michigan, we have a horrible history against mid-majors in the tournament, and it'd be nerve-wracking to face a #15 seed in the Elite 8.

Yes, I appreciate La Salle a lot right now.  Now Ole Miss fans can go back to not caring about basketball for another decade or so.  It was getting really weird down here...

I had no idea it was a school, it sounds like it should be a diploma mill.

I've only got 7 of my Sweet 16 teams still alive, and only one complete matchup (Marquette vs. Miami).

I've got 5 Elite 8's still alive

I've got 4 Final 4's still alive.

That's not good! Tongue

I have the Midwest and East region perfect. The only Elite 8 team I have out is Gonzaga, and my Final 4 is perfect.

You can have 'em back after Wichita State handles them Wink

Is now an okay time to stereotypes, namely regarding athletic abilities?

In fact, I have Marquette going all the way and losing in the National Championship to Ohio State.

Wrong.

Probably

Marquette is suddenly two wins away from the National Championship game after beating Miami in the Sweet 16.

Awesome!  Half of my Final 4 is still in tact and my entire National Championship Game is still in tact.  I think this is the longest my bracket has stayed at least somewhat relevant.

The Wichita State-La Salle game just tipped off. I have Gonzaga winning this one in a squeaker over Wisconsin.
