Vitter just announced in his concession speech that he for sure won't be running next year.

What a wimp. He couldn't wait a couple weekss and quitely announce it when his supporters aren't already dejected. No class, but then we knew that.

John Kennedy (R) will probably run for Senate and win.

The primary between Kennedy and Angelle will be pretty rough.

Fleming and Boustany will run too.
That will be a fun race.

If the AG race tells us anything, Kennedy being a former Democrat probably will be brought up again and again.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Edwards won by 12 or more points.

Called it.

Jefferson flipped to 51-49 Edwards with only two precincts left.

Looks like they finally got a return from a heavily dense black neighborhood.

Big suprise if the next precint is a heavily evangelical suburb that swings it back to vitter.

Great news, but unfortunately, Ouachita is for Vitter, so all of Edwards' parishes won't connect Sad

John Bel Edwards (D): 55.16% (606,889 votes)
David Vitter (R): 44.84% (493,349 votes)

3732 of 3945 Precincts Reporting   (94.60%)

With just a couple of precincts left to report, JBE is winning Jefferson Parish with 50.8% of the vote (LOL).

There are also multiple parishes where JBE is just barely losing (1-2 points) that have weakened the map's impact since last update.

Jesus Christ, Vitter only got 60% in Livingston Parish. What a slaughter.

If i were Edwards i would pin a pic of the AG and Lt gov maps on his desk and nightstand. Because that's the spectre of what he has to beat in 4 years when his opponent isn't Diaper Dave Vitter.
