Let's not pretend you guys don't know the rules of this thing.

Let's not pretend you have any respect for what would logically happen.

That, good sir, is for another series.

You do realize you'll have to explain why the Socialists just die. They could create the Social Democratic Party with the Democrats, or maybe Daniel Hoan is just so uninspiring that all the Socialists kill themselves.

Huge fraud scandal - party leaders go to jail, mass exudus to the increasingly liberal Democratic party.

Estes Kefauver.  The Socialists had a good run with both Debs and Sinclair, but they just don't have any good candidates anymore.

Awesome ticket. It looks like Hoopes won't win, so I'll likely vote Kefauver in the GE and he and HHH would be a great ticket.

Hoan and Hoopes are found to be secret lovers.

He wasn't originally; Cath changed the map. The first one had Sinclair with 284 EVs, I believe.

And i was considering voting for Eisenhower considering left nominees are subpar. I guess we'll have to destroy the incumbent with a democratic ticket now and go to an actual one party state.

Great news if we have a female VP in the 1950s.

Kefauver's left-wing enough, isn't he?

We had a female President in the 1870s. A VP in the 50s would be a downgrade.

Yeah, let's give someone who got 7% of the PV in 52 another shot, makes perfect sense Wink

Why not? Al Smith got 7% of the PV in '24. Eugene Debs and James Weaver both tried many times before they were elected.

Huh  I would say not having anything at all would be the downgrade.

The point is that we've already made history. An Obama or HRC presidency wouldn't be nearly as historic as IRL, probably not at all.

Yeah, Kefauver has a real shot now that Socialists are running lackluster candidates.

The Democrats are leading in primary turnout so far.

So would the Atlasian-America be a better place to live in than the real one in the 50's?
