He did compare gay marriage to bestiality a year ago.

He changed his mind. He's in a states rights position like most of the more sane Republican 2016 contenders.

So in other words, he opposes it.

I wonder if that will be enough for the socons in the base. As SSM marches on further and further, will these types (who will still dominate large parts of the GOP come 2016, especially in the early states) become more restive and demand that the candidates stand and die with them on a marriage amendment? Rick Perry tried that 10th amendment crap and he got smacked down.

Ya he changes his mind on a lot of things it still doesn't change what he said which will be used against him.

Not necessarily. I prefer the issue being left to states and I support it.

Because the nation as a whole isn't ready yet.

The ban on hemp is one of the silliest policies currently in effect.  A very useful industrial substance banned because it shares a species with marijuana, itself a near-harmless recreational substance.    Even if one had a problem with marijuana, one could not get high through hemp.  It's a nonsensical, idiotic policy.

In related news, Walker has "given up" on gay marriage:

This is welcome news for someone who was actually refusing to state his position on the issue.

If you lived in the south like I do, where only 6 of its 16 states have SSM, (and that's counting Maryland and Delaware, otherwise it would be 4 of 14), you would know.
