I think after this maybe we shouldn't make anymore threads about it. It's over.

Is this the same Bill O'Reilly who not long ago compared SSM to marrying a turtle?

There is now a monetary cost for the wealthy to opposing same sex marriages: it ensures Democratic victories in elections and higher tax bills.  They're done pretending to be evangelicals.  It was a good thirty year run, but it's over.

I didn't expect this, but I knew that Bill was one of the more reasonable people on Fox News.  Antarctica does have its warmer spots.

bingo.

bill o'reilly will go where the money is, and increasingly there's no money to be gained from opposing equal marriage. the republicans will always give ground on social issues where neccesary because the thing which fuses the party together is a commitment to anglo-saxon capitalism and "free enterprise"

Aha nope, it'd be light green... If the Dems went pro-life, I could see myself as a Bob Casey type maybe.

I don't believe anything Mr. Blowhard has to say, to be honest.  Including whatever his supposedly evolved position is.

I thought the argument was that corporate Dems use social issues to distract from hyper-capitalist economic policies...now its leftist democrats using social issues to gain power to push an economic agenda. Tongue

FWIW, I think there's truth found in both.
