I hereby sue the Imperial Dominion of the South for the improper certification of the March Elections to the IDS Legislature.

Article IX, Section 1 of the IDS Constitution states:

Quote

As can be seen, the voting booth for the March 2013 IDS Elections was opened at 6:00 PM CDT on March 22. The very same voting booth was closed shortly after 12:00 AM CDT on March 25, meaning it was open for a total period of just over 54 hours. As such, no candidates were duly elected.

I must request that the unlawful certification by the Emperor of the March IDS election results be ruled invalid in their entirety based on improper administration of the voting booth - due to the minimum amount of time as defined by the regional Constitution not being allocated - and that a new election be called to rectify the situation.

Thank you.

*The Judicial Overlord enters the courtroom, a wave a fear and panic sweeps across the lands*

What... really? You summoned me forth from the black abyss that is my basement for this? I was in the middle of interrogating prisoners... err... entertaining guests... yes, the second thing.

Very well, let the proceedings begin.

*bangs gavel, the Earth quakes*

Now, the irregularity is clearly there. However, I'm not inclined to outright cancel the election results as that would likely end up disenfranchising someone. As I recall in a past case that I'm not inclined to look up I simply allowed parties affected by the irregularities to vote here in the courtroom. As such any IDS voter registered properly before the election who did not get to vote due to the premature closing of the voting booth may vote here and their votes shall be counted as part of the election. This special voting booth shall be open until this Friday at 11:59PM CDT. Any votes cast after that are null and void.

*bangs gavel, the Earth quakes*

Happy now? Yes or no, get out of my courtroom - you already voted, Adam.

*The Judicial Overlord leaves the courtroom, across the land fear and panic subside to mild apprehension and paranoia*
