Two questions, which call for two electoral maps:

Scenario 1: What would the 2012 electoral map look like had 100% of registered voters voted in all 50 states?

Scenario 2: What would the 2012 electoral map look like had 100% of the voting-aged population been registered to vote, and had voted in all 50 states?

Discuss with maps.

I would have to concur with the above two posters, as hard as it is to say.

Black turnout eclipsed white turnout in 2012, but just barely, so I wouldnt expect any major differences in places with low hispanic populations.

TX would have been a lot closer, so would AZ

I expect Obama's margin to grow and Johnson to pass the 5% nationwide! Cheesy

Definitely a larger Obama victory margin. The big thing to watch out for would be Texas, which had only 46% percent turnout. I would say most of those voters were white conservatives, and increasing the turnout of the more liberal leaning others that did not turn up for the election could flip the state. On the other hand, Colorado with a over 70% turnout, the highest in the nation, would not look much different.

Obama would win scenario 1 in a blowout, but scenario 2 would be comical, it could honestly end up as a 518-20 Obama landslide:
