Boris, this is generally true. Whatever the case Family Guy is a very highly rated show, so it's not like watching it is unusual or anything.

The only reason I bring up South Park is because most Family Guy trashers tend to be fans of that show.

I, for one, like both shows, you silly, stereotype-loving man.

Even though the South Park creators probably hate you and think you're an idiot if you could possibly enjoy the show?

The South Park creators have a burning extreme hatred for liberals (one of them even said verbatim "I f**king hate liberals") and Family Guy fans.

If someone really watches either show based on politics, they're an absolute dunce.

Todd Solondz is a very respected and acclaimed independent film director, not some unrespected studio hack like Michael Bay.

What does Michael Bay or any other 'unrespected studio hack' have to do with anything? Being a 'very respected and acclaimed independent film director' is not necessarily an automatic maker's mark of undeniable quality, you know.

Have you ever seen Solondz's films?

I saw Palindromes once but remember very little about it.

I see nothing terribly objectionable about it.  Family Guy indeed has some jokes that many would find extremely offensive, but that's the point.  MacFarlane knows that people are expecting him to step up to that line and many times he just goes ahead and just crosses it.  I often find myself laughing my ass off, but at the same time saying "Oh my god, that's awful" at the same time.  The two CAN go hand in hand.  I have better things to do in my life than worry and complain about Seth MacFarlane trying to offend so I just go ahead and laugh at the absurdity of it.  So... will I vilify BRTD for enjoying a Family Guy Vietnam joke?  No.  **** that.

My Little Pony... I don't get it... but w/e.  Isn't it supposed to be a throwback to the Nicktoon days?  I'd imagine BRTD gets some kind of nostalgia from it.

I love both Family Guy and South Park... so I don't get what this little battle is all about.

Everyone seems to think his sense of humor is incredibly effed up.  If someone has an example of this outside the aforementioned examples, I'm all ears.  I've never been terribly offended by what he finds funny, though.
