Anyone in Indiana or North Dakota who still voted based on gay marriage, probably voted for Mourdock/Berg anyway. The idea that gay marriage will still be a deciding issue in any state outside of the Deep South and Utah/Idaho by 2018 or 2020 is stupid.

I don't see this really affecting Donnelly by 2018, but had this been known before his last election, I'm not quite sure he would be in the position he is today - would have been much closer.

Donnelly is as good as defeated in 2018. Hoosiers will not forget this utter betrayal of our values.

Yes, the values of the state that helped vote in Obama in 2008. Stop talking out of your crease, Hoss.

Great move by Donnelly, opposing the assault weapons ban while supporting gay marriage.

I had a feeling that Heitkamp probably didn't care anyway, while Donnelly seemed to be personally opposed to gay marriage at first.

I rather doubt that.

Zell Miller and Gene Taylor will be "coming out" by June.

No chance.

He dies before he comes out.

Hell, half of the Republicans announce before he does.

Wow, they're pretty conservative, and even they came out.
Johnson seems an obvious next person.
Landreiu might wait until after her election.
Pryor seems pretty conservative, but so were Heitkamp and Donnelly.
Manchin is just an ass.

Manchin is also from West Virginia which might be the most socially conservative state in the nation, so I understand a lil bit but I still dislike him because of it.

He's just an ass. He's not up for 6 years. Rockefeller wasn't one of the last ones to come out for SSM.

LOL, Zell Miller, talk about irrelevant. Has he come out in favor of legalizing duels yet? Did you know that he was once pro-choice?
