Runoff time! I assume it's Kennedy v. McCarthy v. McGovern and Romney v. Goldwater v. Nixon.

Yay runoff!

Ah, yes, I remember that shining moment when Eternal President McGovern rose from the ashes of the Democratic National Convention. Truly a glorious day.

To be swatted down in the general? Tongue

I was referring to how the convention went IRL though.

No. That's why I referred to him as Eternal President McGovern. Unless, of course, he beats incumbent President Romney (just saying that reminds me of the Dark Times in 2012) in 1972.

I just realized that I accidentally forgot to include Reagan. No wonder he was performing so badly!

Imagine the sound of an Indie car going by, but replaced with "DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERP!"  Oh well, I think it'd be pretty safe just throwing Reagan into a run off with the other big candidates.

Don't think it matters much. Our Conservatives here are more of the Goldwater type as far as I can tell.

You just want Goldwater because it'll get McGovern more votes Tongue  I'd prefer Romney Tongue

So? I'm going with the will of 40% of the Republican party. It's just a coincidence that Goldwater's more abhorrent to the general election.

The fact that it's a tie means there isn't a general will.  Even more so if it's less than a half.  You're pretty quick on the trigger to attribute general will in general (woo tongue twister.. well, almost x.x)

Being honest, I wouldn't mind if we left Reagan out...
