10004? Really? Surprised it has more than 1,000 people, first of all, and secondly kind of defies the stereotype that the Financial District is full of recent college/b-school graduates working for the financial industry, making significant money but not millions. I wonder who the $1M earners living there are. The bigwigs of the financial industry I would think would have no desire to do so.

Median income would be a more useful statistic. (Coming from a below-average income denizen of #19)

I used to work in 10004.  It is really is surprising.  Maybe they're counting sleeping in your office or 10004's population is disproportionately a few high rises.

Given that the data is almost ten years old and the Great Recession has intervened, it would be interesting to see a new list.

I assume everybody can figure out why Incline Village is on the list, right?

That's the town on Lake Tahoe where a bunch of California wealthies claim to live so they can evade CA taxes, right?

Also, on the topic of 10004, take a look at the available real estate. Definitely fits the listed income.

Bingo!  If you have to live in NV to escape taxes, Incline Village is about the only tolerable alternative. I have been telling one of my clients to seriously consider it.
