Huh, so this is what being Fred Thompson feels like Tongue. It was a mistake for me to even consider doing this the week before finals. I'll withdraw and withhold an endorsement, for now. Would I be able to endorse for Jeb later?

Debate Answer:

"I believe the unconstitutional law known as Obamacare should be repealed immediately. It has already killed millions of elderly Americans by forcing them onto government death panels and making them get vaccinated. Now, my opponents, namely Governor Romney, support this evil socialism, and the Governor even did it when he was governor of liberal Massachusetts. There is literally nothing good about this unconstitutional, immoral, socialist government takeover of health care and there is literally nothing good about those who have supported it, currently support it, or will support it in the future!"

Herman Cain Debate Response:
"Obamacare is bad news. It will bankrupt this country and only increase healthcare costs. It is socialized medicine, that is what this country DOES NOT NEED. Socialism. A Herman Cain Healthcare plan will be revitalizing and easing, much like my 999 plan, but I do not have it ready yet for public consumption. All I know is the President's priorities are not in the right place, and Obamacare should be repealed."

Mitt Romney for President...Believe in America

Mitt Romney Campaign Schedule

October 17th: Accompanied by Charlie Bass and Kelly Ayotte
Meet and Greet - Lancaster, New Hampshire
Meet and Greet - Littleton, New Hampshire
Meet and Greet - Campton, New Hampshire
Town Hall Meeting - Plymouth, New Hampshire
Appearance on The O'Reilly Factor

Congressman Charlie Bass Endorsing Mitt Romney

I've had the pleasure of serving New Hampshire in Congress since January, and let me tell you - Washington is a mess! We've been stuck with the failed policies of Barack Obama for almost three years now, in which we've seen unemployment continuing to rise, a national debt that is out of control, and Obamacare! We need a President who can restore this nation to her glory, a President who can get New Hampshire and all of America working again.

I'm proud to endorse Mitt Romney because I am certain he can do just that. While serving as Governor in our neighboring state of Massachusetts, he balanced the budget while cutting taxes! Massachusetts also became #1 in education under his tenure, and Ann and him were able to establish the John and Abigail Adams scholarship which makes college a possibility for thousands of students who otherwise may not be able to go. When Mitt Romney took over the Salt Lake City Olympics, it was in complete shambles. He got in there, and with common-sense solutions, turned the 2002 Olympics into the most profitable Olympics. That's just the type of leader we need right now in Washington, and I'm proud to join Senators Ayotte and Sununu in endorsing Mitt.

October 18th: Accompanied by Charlie Bass and Kelly Ayotte
Meet and Greet - Tilton, New Hampshire
Meet and Greet - Belmont, New Hampshire
Meet and Greet - Boscawen, New Hampshire
Town Hall Meeting - Concord, New Hampshire

Mitt Romney, greeting supporters in Boscawen, New Hampshire

It's good to be with you all this afternoon!

My friends, the polls are looking good for us right now in New Hampshire! We need to continue to fight harder to win this state in January, and cannot rest until the final vote is counted!

It is imperative, absolutely imperative, that we make sure Barack Obama is a one-term President. Our future generations cannot afford four more years of this reckless administration. President Obama has already brought more debt to our national debt than every other President in our history...combined. We've seen no solid economic plan from the President going forward - I have a 57-point plan that will get America working again. We're going to turn around our economy first off by attaining energy independence - it's time to open the Keystone Pipeline which will bring jobs to America and decrease our dependency on foreign oil.

Secondly, we need to fix our education system by finding a solution that answers directly to teachers, students, and parents, not the teachers union. Thirdly, we have to cut our deficit - I have a plan to cut the deficit and get us to a balanced budget as soon as possible. Fourth, I support across the board tax cuts to American families and businesses - this extra money will bring more jobs and will generate more money in our economy. Finally, an important point: We must repeal and replace Obamacare! On the first day of my administration, I will grant a waiver allowing each state the opportunity to opt out of Obamacare if they so choose. This plan is an unnecessary takeover from our federal government that we simply cannot afford to take. Under my administration, we're going to repeal it.

October 19th: Accompanied by John Sununu and Kelly Ayotte
Meeting with Small Business Owners - Pembroke, New Hampshire
Meet and Greet - South Hooksett, New Hampshire
Campaign Rally - Manchester, New Hampshire
Meeting with Hillsborough County Republicans - Manchester, New Hampshire
Flies to Utah

October 20th: Accompanied by Orin Hatch
Meet and Greet at Salt Lake City Airport - Salt Lake City, Utah
Campaign Rally - Murray, New Hampshire
Fundraiser - Salt Lake City, Utah
Flies to Iowa

Mitt Romney being greeted at SLC Airport by Orin Hatch

October 21st: Accompanied by Bob Dole
Meet and Greet - Des Moines, Iowa
Meet and Greet - Johnston, Iowa
Campaign Rally - Des Moines, Iowa
Appearance on KCCI Channel 8 News - Des Moines, Iowa

Campaign Rally in Des Moines, Iowa

Good afternoon!

It's great to be back in Iowa again! It's also great to be accompanied by Senator Bob Dole, a great American and great Republican leader. I am honored to have his support in this race.

Four years ago, we elected Barack Obama to the Presidency - many believed in his message for hope and change, and all of us wished him well. Yet here we are, four years later, and what does his administration have to show for itself? Our unemployment has risen during his administration, our national debt has almost doubled, and Obamacare was rammed down our throats. This is not the hope and change we were promised.

Under my administration, my top legislative priorities will be to repeal and replace Obamacare and to establish common-sense, conservative economic principles to get our economy moving again.

I've been honored to receive the endorsement of many conservative leaders in our party, and as President, I will only appoint Supreme Court justices who believe that life begins at conception and that Roe v. Wade should be overturned! I also support a constitutional amendment that defines marriage as between one man and one woman.

Iowa, I need your help! Polling has us neck and neck with Governor Huckabee, but with all of our great supporters here in the Hawkeye State, I am very confident that we can be victorious on caucus night! I urge each of you to talk with family and neighbors about this important race and encourage them to caucus - together, we can restore America! Thank you, and God Bless you all!

October 22nd: Accompanied by Bob Dole
Meet and Greet - Ames, Iowa
Speaking to students at Iowa State University - Ames, Iowa
Meet and Greet - Story City, Iowa
Meet and Greet - Iowa Falls, Iowa
Appearance on Anderson Cooper 360

October 23rd: Accompanied by Jeff Sessions
Meet and Greet - Ceder Falls, Iowa
Meet and Greet - Waverly, Iowa

Mitt Romney for President...Believe in America

Scott Brown: Mitt Romney is a Leader

The following editorial was published in the New York Times by Massachusetts Senator Scott Brown:

It is my pleasure to endorse Mitt Romney for President of the United States.

Having lived in Massachusetts almost all of my life, I have had the opportunity to see Mitt Romney at work, both during his inspiring run for Senate in 1994 and during his time as Governor of the Commonwealth. To say the least, I have been thoroughly impressed and amazed by the leadership of Mitt Romney. After spending the last year and a half in Washington D.C., I am certain he is the man we need as our President.

When Mitt Romney swore in as Governor of the Commonwealth, he faced great obstacles. For starters, the Democratic Party had an overwhelming majority in the legislature, and our state's economic status was declining. Working with both sides, Governor Romney was able to achieve a balanced budget by reigning in government spending and cutting taxes. Under Romney's leadership, our education system rose to first in the nation and a scholarship fund was created that gives thousands of Bay Staters the opportunity to attend college at little cost, something that may not have been possible before.

Mitt Romney has been a leader his whole life, and on day one, will be ready to lead our nation back on a path of economic prosperity. I urge my fellow Americans, whether Republican, Independent, or Democrat, to join me in supporting Governor Mitt Romney for President of the United States. God Bless.

Ben Quayle: Herman Cain is the Man We Need

"Going through all of these candidates, I realize that all of them are flawed. Mitt Romney chief among them, a flip flopper who I am not really sure if he's on flip or flop right now. Mike Huckabee isn't a conservative, and most of the rest of the field isn't worth mentioning. However, one candidate will stop Obama's tax cartels, and that candidate is Herman Cain. Barack Obama is the worst President in history, and only the anti-Obama, so to speak, will do the deed. Herman Cain is that man. 999 is an innovative tax policy that will change the way we think about money, his foreign policy is detailed, and his Pizza as Godfather's Pizza CEO is delicious. Those are the only three things I want out of a President."

"Thank you, god bless, and help me elect Herman Cain President!"

Mitch Daniels's Schedule: From October 17 to October 23, 2011:

The New Hampshire Tour:

October 10: Barnstorming Paradise and Las Vegas, Fundraiser with Brian Sandoval.
October 11: Barnstorming Las Vegas, Henderson and Reno with Brian Sandoval.

Bus Tour in New Hampshire: (With Tim Pawlenty, Condi Rice and John Sununu):

October 12: Bus Tour in Bedford, Portsmouth and Keene, New Hampshire.
October 13: Bus Tour in Londonderry, Hudson and Merrimack, New Hampshire.
October 14: Bus Tour in Salem, Rochester and Dover, New Hampshire.
October 15: Bus Tour in Derry, Concord and Nashua, New Hampshire.
October 16: Fundraiser, Barnstorm and Final Tour Rally in Manchester, New Hampshire.

2.- Announcements, Messages and Other Things:

Speech in Manchester, New Hampshire:

"I believe that everyone should contribute to our national recovery, including of course the most affluent among us. There are smart ways and dumb ways to do this: the dumb way is to raise rates in a broken, grossly complex tax system, choking off growth without bringing in the revenues we need to meet our debts. The better course is to stop sending the wealthy benefits they do not need, and stop providing them so many tax preferences that distort our economy and do little or nothing to foster growth.

It’s not fair and it’s not true for the President to attack Republicans in Congress as obstacles on these questions. They and they alone have passed bills to reduce borrowing, reform entitlements, and encourage new job creation, only to be shot down time and time again by the President and his Democratic Senate allies. This election season, it falls to Republicans to level with our fellow citizens about this reality: if we fail to act to grow the private sector and save the safety net, nothing else will matter much."

Debate Response:

"I know some people out there consider me as having very little charisma, and I certainly can't compete with candidates like Herman Cain on charisma alone. However, I bring with me ideas, plans and a whole record behind me. Thus, perhaps some fresh experience from Middle America would be of value:

When I was elected governor of Indiana five years ago, I asked that a consumer-directed health insurance option, or Health Savings Account (HSA), be added to the conventional plans then available to state employees. I thought this additional choice might work well for at least a few of my co-workers, and the HSA option has proven highly popular. This year, over 70% of our 30,000 Indiana state workers chose it, by far the highest in public-sector America. And what I have found is that individually owned and directed health-care coverage has a startlingly positive effect on costs for both employees and the state.

Unless you're in favor of a fully nationalized health-care system, the president's health-care reform law is a massive mistake. It will amplify all the big drivers of overconsumption and excessive pricing: "Why not, it's free?" reimbursement; "The more I do, the more I get" provider payment; and all the defensive medicine the trial bar's ingenuity can generate. All claims made for it were false. It will add trillions to the federal deficit. It will lead to a de facto government takeover of health care faster than most people realize, and as millions of Americans are added to the Medicaid rolls and millions more employees (including, watch for this, workers of bankrupt state governments) are dumped into the new exchanges."

New Surrogates for Mitch Daniels:

Tim Pawlenty:

"I think he's going to be a transformational and great president for this country. He has a formidable resume between his work for Senator Lugar, his private sector work, and his Governorship."

Brian Sandoval:

"Governor Daniels has the strongest record of job creation, fiscal discipline, and executive branch leadership among the presidential candidates. I know he will get America working again, and I am proud to endorse his campaign for President."

Condoleezza Rice:

“If America is going to rebuild its strength at home, rebuild its sense of who we are, it needs a leader that also understands how really exceptional the United States of America is, and is not afraid to lead on the basis of that exceptionalism. Mitch Daniels is that man."

"He is the only conservative in this race. He's not a political lightweight or a wishy-washey moderate like our friend from Massachusetts. He's he real deal. The real deal for our party and he should be without any question the next President of the United States!"

Gov. Huckabee in Florence, SC
"Obamcare is just another example of government intrusion into our economy and into our lives. It needs to go and will starting January 20th, 2013!"

Gov. Huckabee Debate Response:
"Let us first acknowledge that the President's health care law, Obamacare is bad news. It's bad for businesses, it bad for the individual and it's bad for America. I mean one does not have to look any further that the United States Postal service to see how the federal government runs an agency. Now you tell me the federal government is going to run the health care system, an industry that is 1/6th of our total economy? Give me a break. I'll tell what I'll do as President. One begin the process to repeal Obamacare and if I can get rid of parts of it through executive order on day I'll do it, but much of the law will have to be repealed. So once that's done, what next? To allow the free market to take over. Now what the heck does that mean, some people are probably saying. Get the government out of the way and provides choices for people, because all of can agree, despite what democrats are saying we as Republicans want all Americans to have health insurance, we only have a different approach to handling it.

I'll say that I like some of what Governor Daniels did in Indiana, that is a free market, free enterprise approach that leaves it in the hands not of government bureaucrats, but ordinary citizens, and while I support states to have the right to address these matters in ways they see fit, that's what the tenth amendment gives us, but Governor Romney what you did in Massachusetts is identical to what the President is doing nationally and I find it funny and downright absurbed to think that you can go toe-toe with him on stage and say 'Obamacare was a bad idea', when you yourself implemented the same policy in your state.

For me Republican credability on that issue is gone if you're the nominee, aside from the obvious and frankly numerous issues."

Mitt Romney for President...Believe in America

Debate Response:

Governor Mitt Romney weighs in on Health Care

Thank you for the question.

First off, let me be clear: What we passed in Massachusetts is nothing like Obamacare. I was tasked with working with a veto-proof Democratic legislature when writing the bill - I vetoed eight separate provisions to the bill and each was overridden. What we passed in Massachusetts is not perfect, but it was a step in the right direction towards insuring thousands of Bay Staters who were previously uninsured. Presently, only four percent of Massachusetts residents go without health insurance, compared to thirteen percent in Indiana and eighteen percent in Arkansas.

I'm proud of what we did in Massachusetts, but that's not to say the same policy would work in every other state. Obamacare is a complete overreach by the federal government on health care, and as President, I will do everything in my power to repeal and replace. On the first day of my administration, I pledge to grant a waiver allowing states to opt out of Obamacare if they choose.

Forty-five million Americans currently live without health insurance. That's just wrong, and we as Republicans need to be introducing ways to solve that problem. Let's help people by their own private insurance, get our citizens insured, not with a government takeover or new taxes, but instead by putting in place a free-market system. Allow individuals to cross state borders to buy health insurance - doing this will lower costs by increasing competition. Finally, we must address tort reform, establishing reforms such as assigning malpractice cases to special health courts, limit non-economic damages, and provide awards or indemnity according to a predetermined schedule can reduce the burden - this has been implemented by multiple states and works.

Mitt Romney for President: Believe in America

Television Ad: Judgement
Governor Mitt Romney has released the following 30-second television advertisement. It will be airing in Iowa and South Carolina.

Announcer: Two pro-life Governors. Both support a constitutional amendment protecting traditional marriage. The difference? As Governor, Romney was tough on drugs like meth, he never pardoned a single criminal. Mike Huckabee? He granted one thousand, three hundred and thirty-three pardons and commutations, including twelve convicted murderers. He granted more clemencies than the three previous Governors...combined. He even reduced the penalties for manufactoring meth.

On crime, the difference is judgement.

Romney: I'm Mitt Romney, and I approve this message.

Ron Paul Debate Answer:
The Federal Government should not be in the business of healthcare. It is not allowed for in the Constitution. If the states want to have it that's their right, but it's not for the federal government. When I started out in the medical field, we didn't have any government assistance programs. I worked at a Catholic hospital, and guess what? No one was EVER turned away! Once the government got involved in medicine, the costs went up and the availability went down. More Government is not the answer.

Ron Paul campaign schedule:
Oct. 17:
Rally with Rand Paul in Columbia, SC
Lunch with Sen. DeMint (seeking endorsement)
Speech in Charleston, SC
Fly to Iowa

Oct. 18:
Breakfast Q&A in Marion, IA
Rally in Des Moines

Oct 19:
Rally in Cedar Rapids, IA
Rally in Sioux City, IA

Oct. 20:
Rally in Iowa City, IA
Speech in Ames, IA
Rally with Mike Lee, Rand Paul and Justin Amash in Ames, IA
Oct. 21:
Rally in Urbandale, IA
Speech in Davenport, IA
Fly to NH

Oct. 22:
Rally in Nashua, NH
Speech in Concord, NH

Oct. 23:
Fly to Iowa
Rally in Council Bluffs, IA

TV and Radio Ad to run in IA, NH, SC, NV:
Ron Paul, Principled, conservative leadership.
Ron Paul was one of just four congressman to support Ronald Reagan in 1976
Ron Paul has never voted for a tax hike, or for raising the debt ceiling.
If you want principled, conservative leadership, vote RON PAUL.

Hutchinson Shortly Before Arriving on SNL
"A New Direction for America"

"If I am elected President, America will start improving from the slump we've been in. Our improvement will not be measured on the scale of Barack Obama's where a good months still has extremely high unemployment. No, I will be measured on the standards of the American people, and those standards tell us that I should not rest and should not give up until unemployment is at a reasonable level. Our future may be in jeopardy, but we can still fix this. This is the United States, the same nation where we bounced back from the Civil War, the same nation where we bounced back from the Great Depression, the same nation where we have bounced back time and time again. And our next bounce back begins today, right here, because of people like you. America can be saved and people like you are a clear example of this !"

Debate Response:
Obamacare is just one example of how this administration is harming our nation. It ruins jobs and damages our economy. This is government intrusiveness at its finest. The American people ought to be able to make their own responsible choices, not have them shoved down their throat by the Federal Government. 60% of Americans disapprove of Obamacare and many states do as well. We must work for a better America through common sense solutions, not those forced upon us partisanly which the majority of the pulic objects to. That's invasiveness at its finest and has no place in a democracy such as ours.

Nancy Reagan Endorsement-

"My husband Ronald is often praised by Republicans as one of the greatest in a generation. While I am always flattered I think Ronnie's success was due to his wide range of skills, whether it was communication or foreign policy. I see those very same qualities in only one person in this race, a true patriot comitted to improving our nation as well as our economy. The person I am endorsing is comitted and is unique. One of a kind you could say. Not only will she fix our nation but she will also continue the recent trend for firsts and if there's one first we need now, its a woman in the Oval Office. That,s why I endorse Kay Bailey Hutchinson for President."

George and Barbara Bush-
"All the other candidates seem to want to bring the party back to its strength during the golden days of the 1980's where we won the vast majority of the states as well as the elections. It was men like Ronald Reagan who led our party to victory then and its women like Kay Bailey Hutchison who will lead it to victory today. If you truly want an improvement, a hope, and a change you should vote for Kay. She's probably one of the most truly experienced candidates and represents all the good things our party has to offer.
"America, this election may very well be my last, but I'm comforted knowing that there will always be principled leaders like Kay, and thats why you should vote for her.

Tom Latham-
"Here in Iowa, we're first in the nation during Presidential Caucuses and Primaries and we generally recieve more attention than other states. Therefore our endorsements are highly sought after. You see, Iowans are often taken advantage of by the political campaigns, our TV's our clogged with ads and our officials are forced into endorsing. Therefore this cycle I decided to choose on my own and not let the ads and phone calls make my mind up for me. In doing so I saw one stellar campaign that understood Iowans are people just like them and that we dont like hearing politics 24/7 just like the rest of the nation. This candidate has been highly respectful of Iowans and has had many fundraisers open to the public, something generally only reserved for high donors, this candidate is Kay Bailey Hutchinson, a principled candidate who will take back Washington and will usher in a recovery from these dismal economic circumstances. Today begins her journey with my support and I hope she'll soon have yours. There's a million reasons to vote for Kay and I hope I have managed to convey a few"

Mitt Romney for President: Believe in America

Television Ad: Repeal and Replace
Governor Mitt Romney has released the following 30-second television advertisement. It will be airing in Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada.

Announcer: Some think Obamacare is essentially free health care. Obama is raiding $716 billion dollars from Medicare, changing the program forever. Taxing wheelchairs and pacemakers, and raising taxes on families making less than $120,000. Free health care comes at a very high price.

The Romney plan repeals and replaces Obamacare, restores Medicare funding, and sets up a plan to protect if for the next generation.

Romney: I'm Mitt Romney, I will repeal Obamacare, and I proudly approve of this message.

Bob Corker is a fellow Southerner who's plan for a stronger middle class will create jobs right here in South Carolina. I'm optimistic with our nation's future, and with Bob Corker as President, I know South Carolina's best days are ahead of her.

Bob Corker:I'm Bob Corker, and I approve this message.

Bob Corker Debate Response: Healthcare

President Obama and the Democrats in Congress rammed Obamacare down our throat, and 2010 was a pretty good indication that American's don't want it as our policy. I happen to agree, and like Governor Romney, will grant a waiver on day one to all states, allowing them to opt out of Obamacare. It is essential that we repeal and replace. Obamacare cut hundreds of billions of dollars in Medicare as well. Seniors, my message to you is this: As your President, I will fight to restore those funds to Medicare and working with both sides, we will come up with a plan to ensure Medicare stays around for generations to come.

As a US Senator, I have been leading the fight to find practical, common-sense solutions to fix our broken healthcare system. Currently, individuals are forced to purchase only the health plans available state, even if a neighboring state has a more affordable and flexible plan. I co-sponsored the Health Care Choice Act, which would remove that barrier, increasing competition and driving down costs for hard-working American families.

We need to move beyond solutions that only nibble at the edges of a much larger crisis facing our country: the nearly 46 million Americans that lack basic health insurance. This Congress owes the American public our attention to a crisis that is affecting so many individuals and their families. I believe this is our moral obligation, and under the failed policies of Barack Obama, we have let the American people down.
