Surely this'll come up in 2016:

I wouldn't necessarily say this hurts him. Most Republican rank-and-file support these measures.

Good for him. Maybe this'll actually get passed by the substantial Democratic majorities and some Republicans who can support moderate gun control measures. IA/NH/SC is not for another 3 years, and I don't think this really hurts him with any significant number who weren't already out of his camp.

I can still see him faring well in New Hampshire.  Iowa and South Carolina are gone, though.

He is not crazy here, there is a psychological link, not to say all kids who love these games want to become real life killers.

He's doing a good job of setting himself up for the general election and as governor, but his chances of winning the primary are worse and worse.

There is no psychological link.

There's no link. It's just a convenient excuse for the gun enthusiast crowd.

"The prevalence of guns in our society has nothing to do with gun violence! Surely it's a subset of America's youth playing Call of Duty!" Completely asinine.

The Barrett .50 cal part has got some gun nuts up in arms. I'm waiting to see their reactions when they hear they can't own a nuke.

If Chris Christie tramples on my god-given right to have one of these...

...then he is dead to me.

Christie has to support new gun laws. It's just where New Jersey is at.

I wouldn't necessarily say this hurts him. Most RINOs rank-and-file support these measures.

A few, not most.  I should of clarified myself and said most northeast Republicans are RINOs.

In other words, the ones who've been Republicans for generations are the RINOs?

Yeah, it's one of the most anti-gun states in the country thankfully, so he'd be crazy not to.

He's running on "making it easier to force people to receive mental-health treatment" and attacking video games? The GOP should love this guy.
