Cotton got married yesterday. Pryor already congratulated him. US Senate seat ain't a bad wedding gift.

Not really. He's pretty bland-looking. Better than Pryor, for sure, but that's not really saying much...

I don't know if the whole "career politician" thing is gonna hold much sway coming from a guy trying to hopscotch from House to Senate in a matter of months without doing any actual bill-sponsoring (IE governing).

So you're saying Jack Reed, John Kerry, and Max Cleland shouldn't have gotten involved in politics?

Yup. Down with the militarists. We got enough of 'em among the civvies. No need for more in politics.

Maybe Pryor is giving up and is revenging himself upon the state by swinging as left-wing as possible. Go down in a blaze of glory. Probably not, but it's certainly what I would do.

Hasn't Pryor already said this months ago? Or maybe he said "I don't regret voting for it", which is essentially the same thing.

He's said this before, as have other Dem senators. Lincoln tried to have it both ways, so this is arguably the less damaging thing to say.
