He always was a little nutty - as any working class rightwinger capable of independent thought is pretty much wont to be Tongue - but a nice enough guy personally. We have worse posters.

Yeah, I mean J.J. and I were going to meet up with him and his wife, who seems very nice.  We wouldn't do that if we thought he was a total dick.  He's got 3 really cute kids, works hard, etc.....but something seemd to snap prior to his departure from the Atlas, and then again recently.

Thurmond would have been an excellent choice for the presidenc.
1948 Thurmond/Wright
1968 Wallace/LeMay
What's disturbing about that? Sounds more like a point of pride to me.
I have one of his campaign buttons over my computer. Guess what I voted?
1860: John C. Breckinridge (Southern Democratic-KY)
1861: Jefferson Davis (CSA-MS)
1948: Strom Thurmond (States' Rights Democratic)
1968: George Wallace (American Independent)
A Buchanan/Gingrich ticket would certainly be the best ticket since Wallace/LeMay in '68.
Segregation now, segregation forever.

Plus, I must add that most school districts around here are already in that situation, it's just not "public" policy.
Yes their definately were good aspects to slavery. The main one being free labor. I don't advocate re-institution of slavery or anything but their are good aspects to it.
Slavery is a very complicated issue and it is not black and white and all the same.

One time I made him so mad, he made a thread on "The Atlas" and threatened to sue me.

Haha! But seriously, he was terrible.

Did he actually elaborate what was good about the slavery or just keep repeating the phrase like an old tape?

He had interesting taste in music. He liked stuff that you certainly wouldn't expect him to.
