The first numbers (13 respondents) show some interesting trends. First of all, the race for Governor remains close between Clinton1996 and ZuWo, with Gass in third place. Secondly, no clear pattern emerges when it comes to the questions of what the ideal balance of power for the Mideast is and whether the Mideast Assembly should be controlled by the right, the left or by no political group at all. Interestingly, 7 of the 13 respondents say their political views are "far left" or "center left", 5 say that they are "far right" or "center right", and only one person considers himself/herself a "centrist". This suggests that these preliminary figures might skew to the left so more responses are wanted!

I've got 15 respondents so far. A couple more participants would be appreciated.

My call for additionall survey participants hasn't had any effect, so I'm going to post the full results now:

15 respondents (100%)

1. What is your opinion of the political balance of power in the Mideast?

"The region is too right wing." - 6 voters (40%)
"The balance of power in the region is just about right." - 5 voters (33.33%)
"The region is too left wing." - 4 voters (26.67%)

2. What would be your preferred balance of power in the Mideast Assembly?

"A majority for the right" - 5 voters (33.33%)
"A majority for the left" - 5 voters (33.33%)
"Neither a majority for the left nor for the right" - 5 voters (33.33%)

3. Which party (or parties) best represent(s) your political views and values? (Several answers possible)

Federalist Party - 6 voters (40%)
Liberal Party - 4 voters (26.67%)
Labor Party - 4 voters (26.67%)
Light Party - 8 voters (53.33%)

4. Election for Mideast Governor: Have you made up your mind about your first preference vote?

"I'm definitely going to cast my first preference for Gass3268." - 2 voters (13.33%)
"I'm definitely going to cast my first preference for Clinton1996." - 6 voters (40%)
"I'm leaning towards casting my first preference for Clinton1996." - 2 voters (13.33%)
"I'm definitely going to cast my first preference for ZuWo." - 3 voters (20%)
"I'm leaning towards casting my first preference for ZuWo." - 1 voter (6.67%)
"I'm completely undecided." - 1 voter (6.67%)

5. In general, how do you intend to vote?

14 respondents (100%)

"(1) Gass3268/ (2) Clinton1996" - 1 voter (7.14%)
"(1) Gass3268/ (2) ZuWo - 1 voter (7.14%)
"(1) Clinton1996/ (2) Gass3268" - 5 voters (35.71%)
"(1) Clinton1996/ (2) ZuWo" - 3 voters (21.43%)
"(1) ZuWo/ (2) Clinton1996" - 3 voters (21.43%)
"(1) ZuWo/ (2) Gass3268" - 1 voter (7.14%)

6. Where would you place yourself on the following political spectrum?

Far right - 2 voters (13.33%)
Center right - 3 voters (20%)
Centrist - 1 voter (6.67%)
Center left - 7 voters (46.67%)
Far left - 2 voters (13.33%)

All in all, solid results for Clinton1996, who continues to lead in the race for Governor. It seems, however, that center-right and far-right voters are undersampled.
