I'll go with Mao, becasue apparently I have the same personality type as him. Well, do you have a better way of deciding in an election like this? Tongue

This poll has been reported. I am not going to do anything, but someone thought it so inane, that it was characterized as trollish. It is pretty silly actually. With a bunch of monsters on the ballot (well I don't know the last guy), you don't vote (you can't vote anyway in the hoods where these incarnations of evil held sway), you just figure out how you can facilitate their assassination. But bring silly has a positive correlation with being young I guess, and I understand. That is all.

Ruled Sichuan with an iron fist in the 1600s (I believe) and massacred millions.

Yep: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhang_Xianzhong

One of the few people who if sources are correct are responsible for the deaths of the majority of the people of the area he ruled.

Wow, I thought mass-murder of this scale was a specificity of the 20th Century (or of European colonization).

Although I believe very much in voting, this is probably the one election I would not want to vote in, and exactly why we should not have compulsory voting.

And that is broadly correct. However, hugely exaggerated reports of your enemy's, and indeed your own, mass murders are a staple of the entire antiquity and middle ages.

Mao, because out of all of these leaders, he was the one who most likely caused the fewest persecutory deaths. Most of the 40 million figure that's always brought up with Mao stemmed from the disastrous handling of the Great Leap Forward and the Great Famine that followed. When you really dig deeper, political and persecution-related deaths in China throughout Mao's reign total less than 1 million, and that's being rough on him. Most estimates are that there were around 400,000-500,000 people killed for political reasons during the Cultural Revolution, and that's pretty much it. For a nation of about 600-800 million people at the time, that's pretty low.

If this was intended to defend him, you might want to try again.
