People don't usually gain weight when they travel to Kenya, do they?

It depends. Decomposition tends to cause significant weight loss.

It's a bit hypocritical coming from me, but if you're going to make that joke (and I did think of it before I saw pkemp's post), be a bit more subtle (like pkemp).

Oh, it's not a joke. But yeah, I didn't see Kemp's post.

He just doesn't give a damn. Deep down inside, he wants to be fat to avoid life. JMO.

Smart boy.  What does JMO mean?

the bottom line is that bushie is happy being a fat, even though it has already negatively affected his quality of life at a young age.  in his part of america, being fat is the norm.

i dont think he totally gets the concept that his obesity will continue to affect his quality of life.  i dont think he understands that he will die at a young age if this keeps up.
Not to put too fine a point on it, but a friend of mine who's been fat since childhood - and probably fatter than he seemed at first glance, being also 6'3'' and wide-shouldered - suddenly died on monday, indirectly caused by obesity. He was 41.
