He'll "probably" decide by the June filing deadline.

'No kidding.

This could just be me, and if anyone disagrees, I can understand. My thinking is, it's actually smart for him to go back and forth on this, and not simply plunge into this race so quickly. Firstly, if he needs to decide by June, he'll have a fairly good sense of whether the race is within reach or not. If he loses, his political career is officially over.

I also think, by not plunging in right away, and by allowing people to speculate about his intentions, he's been able to maybe blunt some of the inevitable carpetbagger attacks. He's going to get attacked for it anyway, but at least this way, people are also somewhat used to the idea of it -- if that makes sense. He's still going to deal with these attacks, they just might not hurt him as much? This is just something I was thinking about this morning, so I could be entirely off.

This isn't anything like that. He is attention whoring.

I have never liked Scott Brown because I have always thought he was too conservative for a MA senator (yes, I like seeing how people vote). But he's an attention whoring, has probably no balls, so Shaheen looks safe.

Shaheen attack ads on Brown practically write themselves.

Yeah, I was mostly curious to hear your guys thoughts about this. I was discussing this with a friend, so I figured I'd at least post it and hear reactions.

If I recall, Warren made some joke about "keeping her clothes on" (to which Brown responded "thank god" or something like that) during the 2012 campaign. Unless I'm hallucinating, I seem to remember several Republicans attacking Warren for a personal attack like that on Brown.

So, uh, Bob Smith formally announced yesterday. Should Brown not go for it and Smith becomes the nominee, how much do you think he gets in November?

Hell, Bob Smith would probably beat Scott Brown in the primary, there's no way the average GOP voter in New Hampshire wants a RINO Masshole to be their nominee.

Please, I'm exhausted because of him, he's an another attention whore.
Would you all agree not to discuss about him until he decides to seek the US senate seat or not?
Thanks

He's announcing an exploratory committee, perhaps as soon as tomorrow.

The Washington press corps is even more excited than when their boy Gillespie challenged a senator of similar vulnerability.

Beyond belief: "Brown to challenge Shaheen? Brewing Battle in the Granite State." - From the headline I just saw on Morning Joe. At least if Brown does decide to run, this will at least be more of a race to talk about than the "tossup of Virginia", though still there's no way Shaheen loses against a carpetbagger.

Y'know, with Sawx going back up to NH for Easter Break, this would be the perfect chance to join Scott Brown's campaign staff! j/k Tongue

Scott Brown must be a very bored man.

He ought to join the Atlas Forum and start an update thread.

Fox has terminated his contract.

I for one look forward to defending our Senate seat from Massachusetts outsiders.
