Great overview of this idea. I'll believe it when I see it, could well be he's doing headline-worthy stuff for its own sake. Should stay out with the possible exception of the unlikely scenario Shaheen pulls a Baucus and abruptly retires.

It continues, this time by taking a shot at Shaheen on Obamacare and taxes. Still says he doesn't know what he's doing.

"I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do." For now I'm filing this under headline-grabbing.

This is just headline grabbing. If he really wanted back in he'd have gone for the rematch with Coakley.

Apparently the NRSC wants him to run too. This is insane. All Shaheen has to repeat is "carpetbagging loser" ad infinitum.

Which is what I said back in April. He's been acting really weirdly since losing and acted weirdly in that campaign too...

He should've run for MA-Gov. Safe D as always.

I seriously doubt he runs. Even if he does Shaheen will defeat him, she's too popular personally. Though according to some NH analysts, carpetbagging isn't as big a problem as we imagine.

He's still flirting and says family issues mean he'll take his time to decide.

Filing deadline's not till June, and his main rival is a carpetbagger himself.

He's announcing an exploratory committee, perhaps as soon as tomorrow.

Still likely D, as Enten points out.

He wins the primary, Shaheen wins in November by double digits. Which would be a rather pathetic end to a once-promising career, IMO.

There is precedent for this moronic stunt: Sarbanes crushing Brock in MD and Dodd trouncing Buckley in CT.
