Here's a classic with DRA v1. 2008 estimates data, LA with 3 majority black districts.

I don't do these things. Drawing such abominations would make me feel ashamed of myself (not that I have anything against you guys doing it, it's just a personal thing).

This is about as concentrated as the non-white population can be in a Connecticut CD.

Is that a three Dem map or a three majority minority map?  Two of either doesn't need to be nearly that gerrymandered.  Nor would zero of either.

It looks to me like a four-Democrats map. Though the Columbia seat surely could take in more D-friendly territory than so much of Lexington County.

Yes, that's a 4-3 Dem gerrymander.

Here's another fairly ugly one.  It's a 2-2 gerrymander of Mississippi, designed to elect two non-Blue Dogs:

And Louisiana:

I once made a State Senate map of Georgia with 39 Obama districts (out of 54 total) but I don't have it saved anymore Sad

Texas, 22-14 Obama.

Texas, 33-3 McCain.

Probably the strongest McCain district possible anywhere in the US, above 83% (the Green "Dem sink" also shown is still at 68%.)

NoVa with just one Democratic and no marginal districts.

53.4% Obama district in Oklahoma.

3 Democratic districts in Mississippi

McCain district in Massachusetts

Connecticut with the minority pack and a McCain district (neither is at maximum, because of the need to get another district snaking through between them).

I forget what the hell this thing was supposed to be - nine Maricopa-dominated districts for Arizona?
