A socialist in theory, but because of his skepticism towards government in practice he's more of a libertarian-leaning liberal.

He fits his namesake well: socially liberal, fiscally conservative, and a bit hawkish.

Very religiously conservative, but with a communitarian streak that could in some instances make him a potential swing voter.

Pretty solid Pennsylvania union-supporting liberal.  Has socially/economically left views overall.

Snowstalker:  Too eager to "fit in" and please those he respects.  He lives his life like a politician.  He's 17.  Things will change.

Hoosierpoliticaljunkie:  I don't know his political ideology very well at all.  I came here expecting to review snowstalker.  That is all.

Social democrat but anti-communist. Distances himself from social issues even despite their economic impact, for appearance's sake, but is generally socially liberal anyway.

Sorry, wrong Snow!

Is there one? I've never seen him express an opinion on anything.

Fairly progressive, though with some libertarianish tendencies (I think you have said you used to be a libertarian, so that makes sense).

A libertarian, although he's also very pragmatic and reasonable, so he's not a "true" libertarian.

Maybe not as out there on the "evils" of fiat currency and no income tax as Ron Paul, but seems along the lines of a rather non interventionist libertarian as he was. This is just from glancing at a few of his posts, and matrix score.

Addendum: The above was for Maxwell. Don't know Jerry that well, but I suspect in the real world, we would tend to be political allies as a guess on many things - kind of a centrist into "balancing tests" with a blue label. Oh Jerry deleted his post. Things are moving rather rapidly here. Smiley

A few sentences? Seems to be working well. Tongue

Torie is a bit hard to read beyond his broad positioning as an increasingly lonely Republican rationalist. His progressive attitudes mask some of the issues on which he leans back into his roots. He never leans so far to be categorized as being off-balance though, which is an important ideological distinction.

Ugh...missed again, of course. For Jerry I'll bless him with an equally in-depth analysis:

Why do I always think of you as a conservative, fezzy?  You seemed to have become quite progressive over the years.  I'll call you a pragmatic progressive.

A pragmatic libertarian with conservative economic views, moderate social views, and interventionist foreign policy views.

Национальное движение - Электронные научно-технические библиотеки нового поколения.

Google translates that as "The National Movement - Electronic scientific and technical libraries of the new generation."...wut

Anyway, Scott would be a typical third-way/moderate-liberaltarian person if it weren't for the progressive Christian influences, which are the most interesting and unique parts of his ideology by far.

Huh, weird. What I did was use Goggle translate to translate "National Movement - Mustafina" into Russian. Tongue

A pretty typical left-winger, although he's more left-wing on economic issues than social issues. I also think he's somewhat hawkish on foreign policy, although I could be remembering wrong.
