A fairly pragmatic libertarian, quite similar to Barry Goldwater (as the username suggests).

Midwestern semi-libertarian populist.

Moderate-ish liberal type, although I haven't seen enough of his posts yet to figure it out much more specifically than that. Definitely seems to be at least something of an internationalist, or globalist, depending upon which terms one prefers.

An asexual trans victimologist. Wink

Seriously though, Nathan is a principled progressive (though he doesn't like the term) who avoids the hedonistic and morally relativist tendencies which too often disfigure modern progressivism, and who very beautifully combines his political views with his profound religious beliefs.

Sort of similar to me (social democrat, supportive of the welfare state/critical of neoliberalism), but more mild-mannered and sensitive than I am, which is probably a good thing.

Leftist with feminist, queer, and possibly environmentalist and Marxist (? I could be entirely off-base on these, in that I could be confusing you with somebody else) influences. Keen to some of the more irritating affectations and self-serving justifications of the contemporary leftist chattering classes. Is almost certainly quite a bit more socially liberal than I am.

All of the others are true, but I wouldn't say I'm a Marxist. At least not an orthodox one. I do like some people who were influenced by Marx, so I guess there's some indirect influence, but I don't really find the majority of his thought accurate or relevant in today's world.

Strong leftist with Marxist sympathies; unabashed liberal who supports restricting markets and economic freedom for "the good of the people."

Conservative leaning independent, probably one of the closest things we have here to your red-blooded 'Murican.  Hates porn for some reason...

Nice, tried-and-true use of scare quotes. Well played.

Sorry....I think I was being a little mean there.  But he is most definitely a strong liberal.  I apologize for the strong language.  I didn't actually intend it to be bad.  I support restricting economic freedom too for some things, like minimum wage laws, hour rules, etc.  This wasn't an indictment of his ideology.

Anyways....fairly moderate and pragmatic on social issues, quite liberal economically.  Fits New Hampshire pretty well.

Boring non-crazy centre-right conservative type, probably trying to be some Moderate Hero type. Enemy of Mustafinism-Komovism.

Solid liberal; working-class populist type.  Would fit in well in towns like Griffith in my home county (Lake County, Indiana).

Independent Liberal who is more left on social issues than economics. Signs of left-libertarianism could be seen as well.

A breed of far-right extremism that only really exists in the States. Not really based on racism or xenophobia as with the European far-right, but a more theocratic approach.
