Question for me is 2-3 times a day immoral?  Or how many times before I get "blue balls?"

Whacking off doesn't give you blue balls, man.  Blue balls come from continued sexual excitement without release.  In other words, if you were getting woodies for a long time without release, that would lead to blue balls.  Masturbation prevents blue balls.

Have fun.

I had a little trouble at a YDA fundraiser the other night! Tongue  Some young ladies there from various staffs were quite delicious.

the biggest problem isn't coworkers, it's just thinking. I have to try really hard to keep my mind off sex at work.

The women where I work are very unattractive.  YDA fundraisers and Meetups have some very attractive women plus the added bonus they're liberal Democrats.  Ironically, I don't get that way at Clubs and bars.  I guess women are more attractive when they can actually talk and say something intelligent instead of screaming to their friends.  This is part of the reason I'd much rather sleep with Flavia Colgan than Jessica Simpson.

I did... Cheesy just picking.. As long as you are not lusting then its not a sin.

You and my dad should get together and maybe you can compare notes with him about how much of an "anti-family" hornball I am!

Well, you can talk to the women at the fundraisers, plus you know you have something in common with them.  I hate clubs because you can't even talk to anybody there.

I think you should do Ann Coulter, though.  Why limit yourself to liberal Democrats?

It's funny the women at bars and clubs are probably just as much if not mroe physically attractive than at a fundraiser, but I feel my chances are better at fundraisers and I get to find more interesting women that aren't just shaking their asses in low cut jeans and stumbling all over the place.  Wow, my revelation of the day!

Because she probably has a penis.

I also don't want a political crossfire in a relationship.  During one of the few times I was actually forced to go to Mass becasue I just wanted to avoid an argument, there was actually a very attractive girl speaking at the end of (Catholic) Mass for about 25 minutes regarding (you'll love this KPhil) Generation Life.  She was about 2-3 years younger than me and a gorgeous brunette from LaSalle University.  Needless to say I though she was a priss, amde sarcastic remarks in my head the whoel time and didn't agree with a word she said.

I'm sorry, but hardcore leftist girls aren't that hot. A lot of them are kind of weird and stuff.. feminists are bad news.

Crazy Republican girls are the best... particularly when they make out with each other. Somehow that happened in my apt. a couple weeks ago, have to figure out a way to repeat.

I agree with you.  Left-wing women usually harbor resentment toward men that will come out in one way or another.  Their whole philosophy is based on the notion that men have abused and oppressed them for centuries - deep down, how could they really like us?

Conservative women, in my experience, generally have much healthier relationships with men because their conservatism is free of doctrinaire resentment toward men.  That is my opinion anyway.

IHMO, I like left-centrist pro-choice women that aren't man haters.  The notion that liberal women are ugly, man haters is nonsense.  I find most of these women at YDA events are career-oriented, professional, well dressed, pro-choice and attractive.  These are mostly DLC types.  I do find some in the Bryn Mawr/Swarthmore class that don't shave or wash their hair unattractive, but they are few and far between.

Lack of certainty?  Ok, you got me.  I'll admit this and I won't too often, but my parents are a pain in the ass about me living at home and not goign to Mass.  I would move out in a heartbeat, but my salary won't cover for me to live anywhere halfway decent with my student loans.

Note: I changed it to "insecurity"

The instinct to view others in a negative light just because they hold veiws different from yours is usually a sign of arrogance which always stems from insecurity in one's self.  True, I could never date a very liberal girl, just like I could never date a very conservative girl... as our world views would be totally different.  I could date a liberal girl, though.

Hell, I went to a Union Hall, on a night before I had a test, to see Dick Gephardt just so that I could be around a girl I was interested in who worked for the Kerry campaign.

I could go for a moderate SE Penn/New Jersey/New York Republican very easily.  The difference is this girl was such a priss and so hands off sexually I don't think anything could have happened between us.

And of course the USSR and their puppet Communist regime in Afghanistan were opposed by feminism's worst nightmare, the Taliban. The US definately took the wrong side there, at least women would be treated fairly under the Soviet puppet regime.

I'm gonna have to take your side there BRTD.  We should have let the Soviets take Afghanistan now that I think of it.  Osama's extreme rightism would have had no place to flourish.  Reagan created a lot of blunders conservatives and foreign policy hawks, such as John Ford, will not admit to.

Yeah, imagine that you might acctually start seeing the person and not the vagina, or, more correctly, imagining the pleasure that you would get from that vagina.  Wouldn't that just be the worst thing in the world?[/sarcasm]

i don't view every female as a vagina soulty.  Yes, I'm an admitted pervert and I like to look, but in a relationship, there are more things to that.

I agree with Supersoulty.  You can't look at every woman simply as a potential receptacle for your penis.  Talk about exploitation of women.  If she's a respectable woman with a strong sense of self, she'll run from a guy like you, Flyers.

Let's call a spade a spade.  You are interested in women simply for sex.  Choose your women accordingly, but don't bring politics into it.

And let's drop this communist crap.  It's ruining a hilarious thread.

My point regarding her was our political ideologies and "talk down nanny-like" of a personality would create a virtual mess of a relationship with this girl in a relationship if I were to ever get into one with her.  This girl was VERY attractive, but a relationship lasting longer than the time it takes for my semen to release after sex is just not happening.  I can not say the same about every woman.

I guess you're right.  Originally, I thought you didn't want to pursue anything with her because you didn't think she'd let you in her pants immediately.

Well, hope that made sense.  This was just a girl the pastor found to speak at the end of a Mass I rarely go to tell us about the "joys of the pro-life movement."  I was saying she's just an attractive girl, but her personality is not something I can be a fan of.

I don't even know where to begin telling you what's wrong with this.

First of all, you have considered only one side of the equation.  You only consider the negative results, and only of the actual US policy.  You do not take into account the positive impact of US policy, or the negative impact of hading the Soviets another colony.  This is bad analysis at a very basic level.

I have admitted to the blunders of Reagan's foreign policy.  I think Lebanon was a mistake, and for that matter so doe Reagan, he said so himself.  Its factually wrong to say that I am unwilling to criticize Reagan when he was wrong.

You have soe facts wrong.  Osama did not build the AQ network in Afghanistan, he built it in Sudan.  "Rightist" conditions in Afghanistan had nothing to do with building Al Qaeda.  You actually seem to have not even rudimentary knowledge of the history of Al Qaeda judging from this post.

Poor analytical skills, no understanding of facts on the ground, etc.  Hey, its what you get for mentionng me by name.

Actually had the Soviets taken Afghanistan in 1980, they would have collapsed in 1991 anyway and the added bonus is Taliban operation would have been limited.  Granted the Taliban could still operate elsewhere, but Afghanistan would have been spared had the Soviets taken over.  You also forgot about the fact the weapons Reagan gave Osama made him more powerful.  We dirtied one hand pretty badly to clean another.  I can also criticize Reagan for the whole Iraq-Iran fiasco.  I think it was better for us to take a non-interventionist policy.  Yes Iraq has democratic elections, but how long will that last?  Shiites control the country and may soon turn it into a military theocracy a la the Ayatollah.  I know Reagan was thinking of buddying up to Iran because of the Soviet threat to the Middle East and South Asia, but the effects have backfired.  Turkey, while it has been pretty secular, could have very well been in danger of becoming an Islamic theocracy as well.

Was aggressive anti-Communist containment worth it?  Maybe.... Maybe not.  One could argue Cuba did better under Communism than under mob rule which was the case prior to 1960.

I certainly do do it, but it is not something I am really proud of.  It is more like simply serving a raw human desire that, if I were a better person, I would be able to control.

Dude, nobody can control it.  That's one area where I don't agree with the Catholic Church, trying to lay guilt on people for necessarily body functions.  You might as well feel guilty about needing to take a piss.

Undoubtedly there are those who can, though it takes extreme discipline.

Fot the most part, I agree, however.

Supersoulty, you're a good guy and some girl may be very lucky some day but for crying out loud masturbation is for your own sanity.  You think you are just going to sit there all "backed up" and wait for that perfect, conservative prissy girl.  DREAM ON PAL!  Those types go for bad asses that have been eating out girls in junior high and having sex by their sophomore year in HS.

You...telling people how they have to get girls? Oh this is good...continue...

I'm terrible at meeting women, but I will say I'm a good observer and dazzleman has pointed that out (thank you by the way).  The main topic was really about masturbation and why soulty shouldn't be all squeamish about it so as to save his well "cream" for marriage with some prissy conservative girl I know he's wanting to marry.

Flyers2005, I'm afraid I think you're right.  I've noticed this myself.  When the real prissy girls finally get interested in sex, they usually go for the badazz guys.

What's usually attracted to me are older women.  One woman about 40 put her hand on my thigh in a bar.. EWWW!!!  What have I done to deserve that in a bar?

Interestingly I've noticed these prissy type girls even at YDA events.  Just thought I'd make that note.  Thing is you and I and many others are attracted to these types, but the thing is you think you're not preppy enough for them, but in fact you're not grungy enough and perhaps too preppy.  I tend to have an in-between laid back style, not grungy or preppy.  I think that may be part of my problem.

Dude, don't know older women.  A woman about 40 is near her sexual peak, and she's not going to play any games.  She knows what she wants and goes right after it, something you don't usually get with young girls.  If she's reasonably attractive, and plenty of women that age are, I sure as hell wouldn't kick her out of my bed, if I were you.

Some may even be willing to pay you, but that's the subject of a different thread....

Young girls are weird.  They are mostly physically attractive, but know they're the toast of the town and will try to get whatever they can.

Funny story:

In one of the dorms on campus, I was in a friend's room one time just laying on her bed, watching television. Nothing going on at all, she was in someone else's room.  It suddenly gets a little itchy/uncomfortable "down there," so like any red-blooded american male, I scratch. For some reason, either I kept scratching or just kept my hands down my pants without even realizing it.  Wasn't even moving, it was just sitting there. She comes back in and was like "OMG are you jerking off on my bed?"

me:  "uh, it's not what it looks like."

*bump*

I actually GOT CAUGHT in a college dorm before.  This was WAAAy back in the Fall of 1998.  I thought my roommate had a class, but he cut it to meet some girl whom he actually brought back to the dorm.  Damn was I ever embarassed.  The prissy girl was like "I think I better be going."

Hilarious.  Did you see her around campus after that?

Yes, but she consistently gave me dirty looks.  Funny she actually attended another Philly area Catholic high school (Arch. Carroll IIRC) and was one of the few that actually attended Sunday Mass, seemed like a stuffy girl, but was quite a hot redhead.

Maybe I should tell my 8th grade boner story.  Well in 8th grade music class we had this horrible teacher so I was dosing off and looking up another girl's dress and she was wearing boxer shorts with no panties so it was quite easy to see her P!$$y.  Needless to say I got quite "firm".  Because the class didn't care, the teacher made us stand up.  Well, to make a long story short the class laughed at me because I had trouble keeping it down.
