Partisanship is out of control. This idea of my team against yours is just so High School, so juvenile. When oh when are the voters going to start to elect adults?

That's not a problem per se. It only becomes one because of the supermajority requirement.

Well, only if all of the governing entities are elected together. The problem would still exist at the moment, just between the House and the Senate rather than within the Senate.

If he's more conservative than Santorum, what motivated him to vote for a Gun Control bill?
I always thought Toomey was an extreme conservative. Glad to see I was wrong.

Oh, he is. His lifetime American Conservative voting record had a 98 rating (compared to 97 for Santorum). He's apparantly at least one of the grown-ups, though.
