A little over a year. I was linked here from another site during or maybe a bit after the 2008 election for the maps, and sometime later I started lurking. For some reason, I felt compelled to register over something involving a Rand Paul campaign adviser wearing a Napalm Death t-shirt.

as I remember it now, I was on a chase for pre-2000 election maps, and found this site's maps collection in April 03.  it would be another month or so before I found the Forum, and once I did I signed up almost immediately.

it'll be a decade in three weeks, there are some celebratory events in the works, I'll keep you posted.

The same day I first viewed it back in November, although I have been searching election maps on here for a couple of years, I never bothered to look at the forum, as I figured it would just be a bunch of bull like most internet forums. But then one day I did a search about the 2012 Presidential results, and I saw the forum and clicked it, one of the best clicks I ever made. Smiley

Six months, I really enjoyed reading some of the alternative timelines, like Cathcon's "A Second Chance", and another timeline in which Reagan went for a third term and fought against Clinton (Sadly, it was never completed).
