R.I.P. Mr. Hanneman Sad, I was a bit of a Slayer fan a few years ago, some great guitar work from both him and Kerry King, particularly on the Reign in Blood album.

Shame to see him go so young too!

Horrible news, I knew he was sick for awhile but not from what he died from. Hopefully it's not the end for Slayer. Sad

I'm not really familiar with Slayer, I've heard them on metal radio a few times.

According to Wiki, they are a Nazi band.

     That's very much not the case. Jeff Hanneman did write a song from the perspective of Josef Mengele, but he has gone on the record stating that it is not meant to be understood as an endorsement, nor would it necessarily be seen as such when read within the context of the metal ethos.

Just reading their Wiki, it seems they actually were skinheads at a point. Slayer were never skinheads.
