You have 3 days. You vote once in each of the 4 situations, as they are numbered so. Who would you choose?

For me, NCY in all situations clearly except for 3, and even in 3, toss-up lean NCY, though if it weren't someone as senior and as accomplished as NCY, I'd go with SJoyce.

NC Yankee in all but 3, but I'll say now that 3 will not happen this cycle.

I don't think ANYONE in the IDS could beat Yankee. The seat is his as long as he wants it. Yankee, Yankee, Yankee, Yankee for me.

Yeah, so far, that's also what polling seems to indicate. Yankee is certainly an establishment.

How many Atlasian citizens have come and gone in the Senate career of NC Yankee? He truly is eternal.

I've been in office over a year, and that's nothing compared to Yankee.  It's remarkable.

I'm surprised at the Yankee/SJoyce result. It seems that in such a race the overwhelming majority of Labor members would back Yankee. I would have expected the opposite.

Form what I've seen, SJoyce doesn't exactly have the best relationship with the IDS Labor Party...

Bit of an understatement, that. Tongue Plus, me running as the left-wing (well, more left-wing) candidate would be a wholly new thing that I haven't really done before. And challenging a Federalist incument so soon after being elected with largely Federalist support wouldn't be the smartest move either.

So far: Griffin holds Yankee closest, still trails by more than 20 points, A Seatown-Yankee rematch would end worse than it did last time, so Yankee, as usual, looks pretty safe.

And most folks apparently would rather have you as Governor than as Senator. Wink

IDS Senate Possibilities:

Match-Up #1:
Senator North Carolina Yankee (Fed-NC): 69%
Former Senator Seatown: 31%
Undecided: 0%

Match-Up #2:
Senator North Carolina Yankee (Fed-NC): 59%
Game Moderate Adam Griffin (Lab-GA): 35%
Undecided: 6%

Match-Up #3:
Senator North Carolina Yankee (Fed-NC): 76%
Emperor Sjoyce (LiT-FL): 12%
Undecided: 12%

Match-Up #4:
Senator North Carolina Yankee (Fed-NC): 71%
Former SoIA Snowguy716 (Lab-NC): 23%
Undecided: 6%

The most senior by 2 YEARS Senator of the IDS doesn't look like he'll be moving by the will of anyone else but himself. Seatown managed 32% on the incumbent last time, but that looks like a maximum, as he only manages 31% and a much more united caucus on NCY's side. Griffin gets the closest, which means he still trails by 24 points. Clearly, people want to keep Sjoyce as the Emperor, and Snowguy's latest performance as the SoIA pushed some Labor members to go with the incumbent. Things look pretty solid in the IDS.
