If CARLHAYDEN were still here we'd hear more ranting and spin about Obama is really killing the economy, but as he isn't I'll just have to hope some Republican officeholders or media figures get asked about it so I can hear the amusing spin.

Precisely. It really doesn't take a lot of money to buy shares in an index mutual fund. The poor obviously have a harder time saving money, but the amount required to invest is minimal.
