First, who defines what is considered "junk food"?  That's such a nebulous term and could be applied in many different ways.  Second, I saw on Facebook that Paul LePage is trying to do the same thing in Maine, and I'm sure other governors are following suit.  Third, why would a Republican governor be trying to do this?  After all, isn't it mostly Republicans who complain about the food police being too restrictive when anti-obesity laws (like Mayor Bloomberg's ban on large soft drinks in NYC) are passed?

And finally, I thought you meant that she was trying to lose weight by eating less snack food. Smiley
