New rule. Anyone who voted to cut the embassy security budget, and then whined about Benghazi should immediately be booted out of office and never allowed to talk about politics again.

The thing with Clinton is she clearly did change back to neoncon, once she became SoS. She was only more dovish, when she ran for president and Iraq was very unpopular.

Hopefully she's learned a lesson because her (relative) hawkishness has always come back to bite her in the a__.

But why would you want her to win, if she simply switches back post-election? Obama switched to hawk post-election (2008), and he had not shown too much indication before that. Clinton has.
The "Obama Was A Dove in 2008" thing is a huge misconception. He always said that Afghanistan was the "right war" and that he'd win it. He was just against the Iraq War. Obama's not a hawk now anyway, he's just pragmatic.

He was not a complete dove, but it is not pragmatic to drone strike people left and right in Pakistan and other countries. Obama far outdid Bush, and he continues to do so with Syria. He also did not leave Iraq like he said he would. He actually said he would do different things at different times.

My question remains, how can you support someone you cannot trust?

No, Iraq should disqualify Clinton from becoming President, but apparently all the "liberals" seem to be suffering from collective amnesia.

No, Dubya should have been impeached for lying to Congress.

*bump*

This thread is from 2013, but just thought I'd mention that Paul continues to use this line with relative frequency.  E.g.,

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/rand-paul-not-waiting-for-2016-to-take-on-hillary-clinton/

Half of the time I love Rand Paul, half of the time I want him to just shut his mouth. It's a super frustrating conundrum.

Lets remember that Rand Paul is running as a Republican, its required that Benghazi must be brought up in the campaign. The entire overreaction by conservative forces and Fox News was meant to keep Hillary out of the white house.

They did try using it against Obama. It was hilarious how incompetent Candy Crowley was at attacking Obama during the debate.
