I don't know if this poll is skewed or not, but Murphy is a strong candidate. It would surprise me if he doesn't become a senator or a governor one day.
No, this was basically an internal poll. This is as worthless as a quadriplegic soccer player.

True, but the polling company is still accurate (got Murphy's result spot-on and was off by 1 in the Sadler race). I'm a little wary of the results too, but the polling company's obviously credible. I'd like to see PPP do a round of polling with Democratic incumbents like these so I can see if Murphy's this popular.

It's got enough worth for Sabato to change the race from Toss-Up to Lean D.

Murphy is really, really popular due to the water contamination issue. The army engineer corps let some deadly algae got into the Indian River. Murphy has been working hard to get the attention of the federal government, and it is boosting his polls. I think he does have high approvals, but he is not leading Adam Hasner or Carl Domino by 30%; that’s just hooey. Solid Republican seats across the country are now “likely Republican” or “lean Republican.

PPP's poll for the House Majority PAC has Graham leading Southerland 44-41.

He was trailing a Generic D 43-47 a few weeks ago.

I'm glad I got my wish though Cheesy

I wish they tested actual challengers in districts that had them (like Gwen Grahan in FL-02).

It's worth mentioning that most sources say Hasner is leaning against running.

Both the floors and ceilings for both parties are ridiculously close to 50% in FL-2. Whoever wins will do so by a point or two. Unless Southerland or Graham eats babies some time over next year polling of the race is going to be useless. Interesting thing: I just saw the first attack ad against Southerland by the house majority PAC. Again though, this race is going to be close no matter what.

Fun thing happened recently: the state Democratic party's website is at FloridaDems.org.  The FL GOP just revealed that they own FloridaDems.com and have of course made it into an anti-Democrat website. I'm still of the opinion that the FL Dems don't have their act together, stuff like this doesn't hurt that opinion.

What a disgusting opportunist.

I hope Sink gets in - I would support her over Crist and Scott.

Sink announced she wouldn't be running about a month ago. Only thing she's got her eye on is FL-13.

Perry Thurston is running for AG. This is the same man who, after a fundraiser dinner, took all the leftovers from his host's house.

I feel bad for Jessica Ehrlich, but the FL Dems owe Sink this for not getting into a primary against Crist. Plus I am worried about Bev Young's threat that she'd only run if Ehrlich was the Dem frontrunner.

Hopefully Ehrlich can find a State House or Senate seat to run in.

Ehrlich has lost the support of Emily's List. Sink has raised almost 38K today via ActBlue.

If Sink wants to be in Congress so badly she should go challenge Dennis Ross or something.

Horrible news. I would have supported Sink for Gov, but not House. At 65, IMHO, she's too old to be a House freshman, where seniority is so important. We need more rising stars like Jessica Ehrlich, but she's being forced to step aside for a has-been (while we run another has-been for Gov).

This is why the Florida Dems are such a joke.

So the showdown begins: Crist, who will have to explain why he bailed to the Dems and Scott, who is rebounding of approval ratings, etc.,

If and a big IF, Crist pulls this off and wins in 2014 and gets reelected in 2018, he would be Florida's longest-serving governor with 12 years of service.

Bet y'all $27 that the 2014 campaign for FL Gov gets NASTY, with lots of negative TV ads pissing millions of Floridians off.
