Democratic candidate George Sheldon with first ad

If Perry Thurston wins the primary election, I am sure Bondi will win the general. Look at his website. It's like he copied and pasted the Florida Democratic platform. George Sheldon's website.

I can't even begin to express how poor a candidate Thad Hamilton is. He doesn't have a logo, he has no legislative experience except for one farm bill, he has never held elective office, and his official facebook posts are not very good for someone running for statewide office.

You can tell that ad was conceived by a marketing meeting with a bubble chart entitled "what young women like!" with large bubbles labeled "REALITY TV" and "NICE DRESSES".

The Rev. Manuel Sykes is set to endorse Rick Scott. Sykes was briefly a candidate for Congress in FL-13 before being forced out by Pinellas Dem leadership, and is a prominent leader of the black community in the region.

How much, if at all, do you think this changes the dynamics of this? Will this be interpreted as an opportunistic move from Sykes?

He wants to get revenge on the Democratic party for when they bullied him out of running for FL-13.

I saw that. I'm just wondering how other people, including people who know Sykes as a black leader, would see it.

I'm sure this is out of genuine conviction and not bitterness and spite.

Not a big impact on the dynamics of the race, but humiliation for Pinellas Dems, probably.
