I was searching something regarding the 2012 election either in early 2010, or earlier than that. I can't remember what exactly I searched. However, I came up with the matchup of Limbaugh/Gingrich vs. Moore/Pelosi. I was amazed that Republicans were blue, and it was cool, since I'd always imagined "red" as the communist color anyway. It was also cool that someone's map had Limbaugh winning Michigan. I didn't even know there was a non-Election What If's section of the forum for quite a while. I was hanging out in "Alternative Elections" and "Past Election What If's" as a lurker for months. Only in October of 2010 did I join.

civfanatics.com forum in October 2004, someone linked to the EV calculator in a thread; then I found the forums and sporadically lurked for a while before eventually registering.

Searched for 2014 predictions. Found a thread on here. Hastily made an account, stayed for the whole discussion.

Yeah, me and Duke were both on a Mac users forum.

Their political board was terrible because owning a Mac was even more liberal hipster than it is now.

I found this board after looking up election whatifs from 2000 here.

A dream, when I was feverish.  In the same dream I saw men with cat's heads and I was able to fly (landed on a giraffe's neck), so, it must've been a pretty high fever..

I voted a Google search, but I don't really remember clearly.  I'm sure it was in the context of looking for polling data on the 2008 election, but I don't clearly remember if it was a Google search or clicking on a link on some other site that brought me here.  I think I lurked for a few days and then joined.

Just goes to show even a broken clock tells the right time twice a day.

I don't recall how I got here other than I originally came here for the main site.

searching for 2000 election results.  i didnt even visit the forum part of the site for a long time.

I actually visited Dave Liep's US Election Atlas regularly during the summer of 2000 to get predictions and polls and such.  After that election was over I forgot about it for a while.  Then in the fall of '03 I started thinking about presidential elections again and remembered this site.  Used the other features several months before noticing the forum part around Christmas.  I think I finally broke down and registered an account on the forum to respond to some bonehead comment I read.

I voted other because in the summer of 2000 I was generally using a different search engine.

Yeah, I think that like angus I first came to the main site during the election of 2000 and then returned in 2004.

I was looking up wikipedia for data on (I can't remember why) previous US presidential elections and so by selecting a few links, I ended up here. Took a bit of time before I registered though.

Google.  I was searching for data back around 2002, found the site and forum, lurked for two years before finally registering.
