Homosexuality contributes nothing positive to society. In fact it only promotes infertility, which is a huge negative.  Society must have adequate reproduction to sustain future generations, this is threatened by the homosexual agenda which demands that unhealthy lifestyles be accepted and celebrated by everyone.

FFs because I am one.
Jesus supported social justice in his time.
Democrats support social justice.
Therefore, Jesus would support Democrats.
It's simple logic.
HPs. They remind me of a guy I know who claims Lincoln was a Key

nesian.
While that would be anachronistic, Lincoln was practically a Keynesian.

I was starting to warm up to the idea of voters having the final say state to state, but if liberal appointed judges are overturning the will of the people, then do we no longer have a democracy?

I almost vomited when I read this post:
The GOP needs to run on a platform that restores order to American society. That means less focus on tax cuts and more focus on stopping homosexual supremacism.

Hilarious because he attempts to sound provocative (oh, I'm sure my party wouldn't mind big government if it was competent!) before dumping this lowly turd upon the forum.

Naso's on a roll today.
It is funny that liberals who defend the 14th amendment don't like the 2nd amendment.

The drug is horrible because the people who use it are generally insufferable. The only things blaker than their stares are their run down cars.

FDR is one of the most foul presidents this nation has ever had. His odious administration should be the model of what a presidency should not be. Unfortunately, it has been taught to generations of historians that the mark of a good president is to attack free enterprise, massively intrude on the private lives of citizens, arrest as many people as possible, destroy food while thousands starve, set silver prices based of of "lucky numbers" and get the nation involved in a war. By these sterling requirements Roosevelt is one of the very greatest presidents. Those who actually care about civil liberties and free markets should never have a single word to say about FDR....unless that word is "charlatan."

Rooney is a ing idiot.

It's not like they're not known for being the party of angry old white men or anything. Yes, they are losing, and like most losers when you're losing you begin to cry foul. Gay people having the same rights as straight people? That's an attack on my religious liberties! It reminds me of those people in high school who would say that they couldn't dissect a pig in biology class because it went against their religious beliefs.

He's basically the definition of what non-libertarians think libertarians are like. Make of that as what you will.

Dissecting a pig is perfectly parallel to gay marriage given the correct dosage of ketamine.

Which is why it is so astonishing that it could be so misinterpreted by the media and by most of the posters in this thread.  SB 1062 is not segregation. It does not even mention gays or sexual orientation and it does not mention discrimination.  It is not specific to a certain religion or religious viewpoint.   Those who that are screaming about how this bill is the reinstatement of the Spanish Inquisition should read this open letter from several law professors:

The national discussion over this bill has been a sick joke, but at least now we know how few people truly value religious liberty, when push comes to shove.

And so actually looking at the bill in question instead of just repeating whatever is on Huffpost is officially deluge-worthy. Atlas does not disappoint once again.

You probably shouldn't complain about people wrongly deluging your posts when you've defended people abusing the deluge. Just saying.

One thing's for sure though...after this a majority of Ukrainians will never again allow their country to fall under Russia's sphere of influence.

Being under Merkel's sphere of influence isn't much better.

The lease is basically in perpetuity, and even Putin isn't pretending it's about the base.

But that is what it is about, the possibility of the base on hostile soil.

If you were an ethic Russian official sitting in Moscow 100 years ago today you could look westward and say, "For our potential enemies to get here, they will have go through the territories filled with Poles, Finns, Belorussians and Ukrainians, that we govern before the set foot on Russian soil.  In the Black Sea, we have a fleet based on our soil to stop them.

If you were an ethnic Russian military official sitting in Moscow 30 years ago today, you could look westward and say, "For our potential enemies to get here, they will have to get past our Allies in East Germany, Czechoslovakia  and then Poland.  Even then, if they enter the Soviet Union, they will have to get past Belorussia and the Ukraine before they step on Russian soil.   In the Black Sea, we have a fleet based on our soil to stop them."

Today?

I'm not defending Putin, but I do understand why he might be a tad worried.

How can you be more electable than someone guaranteed to win the general election?
The same thing was said about Al Gore and Kerry. Look where that lead this country.
Maybe if the United States had a 20 point democratic advantage you'd have a point
In 1976 Carter had a 30 point advantage and almost lost as a moderate. I don't want the same thing to happen in Hawaii.
