Nope. Judging by his first 24 posts, starting here in this thread about the historicity of Moses, I think he is both sincere and quite impervious to reason.

Generally anything from a leftist tends to fall into this category.

You are not a very interesting troll. Sad

But a helpful one as he posted directly here, saving someone else the trouble of posting a copy.

It means the idea that he changed the name in order to appeal to racist Southerners is ahistorical nonsense.

That he was a racist is not. Still, he probably changed it not because Redskins was more derogatory but because he moved the team from playing at Braves Field, the home of the Boston Braves of baseball to Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.

That's actually one of the best uses ever suggested for Idaho.

Shall we rename this deluge after Barfbag, or shall we wait for Deluge IV to do the dishonors?

Aren't alphabets pretty concretely interpreted symbols?

Obviously you've never noticed the mess that is English spelling. Why don't you contemplate that the next time you're sitting by the river, pole in hand, and waiting to catch some ghoti for supper.

Groucho Marx is quite obviously the one shining beacon by which all other great men of history are judged,

I don't often bother with bringing posts here, but this was is quite absurd and bad.

We should turn this into a contest and the winner gets a prize. Since this is about religion, then maybe the winners should receive a free Bible. Oh wait, we have to have separation of church and state so no Bibles. Let's make the prize a Quran.

It was sarcasm about how the left treats religion.

The left treats Christianity as a religion, but not Islam?

No the opposite. They persecute Christianity with their war on Christmas, not allowing teachers to wear crosses, and their opposition to voluntary school prayer.
I'd post this gem in the deluge, but you already did that for me.

So you went to a place to protest the will of the overwhelming majority? How progressive.

In case you haven't noticed, Occupy Wall Street lost.

Fixed

The same Occupy Wall Street that just prevented a war in Syria?

Context:

It's George Zimmerman's birthday.

Am I the only one that keeps track of this stuff?

Even tho the deluge thread is named after you, you shouldn't post your absurd, ignorant, or bad posts here. While it wasn't the best of jokes, this was a clear attempt at comedy, parodying the happy birthday threads on the Forum Community board.

Here's another one:

I highlighted the illogical parts, pretty much the whole thing.

That's not illogical. Of the three challengers to Graham, if any of them succeed, I expect it will be Cash. (If Graham were for some reason to leave the race, I'd expect Bright to get the nomination, and he may even manage to come in second in the race, but only Cash has the potential to knock off Graham.) While I think it likely Graham will be renominated, and if so will certainly be reelected, his renomination is not certain. Cash has an outside chance at the nomination, and if he does win the nomination, he will be favored to win the general election.

But you know, pots somehow cool. It only alters your mind. I know a guy who I once went to school with who was smoking pot and ran over somebody. But that's not that big of a deal, I guess Roll Eyes.

Let's ban alcohol then.
How about legalize everything?

Including smothering libertarians with pillows?

But aren't Libertarians heartless elites who want to throw bricks at poors? Tongue
Krazen's a Libertarian now?

Who said krazen is an elite?

That was a good post. Everyone knows ones marketability effects ones behavior.

But not everyone knows the difference between "affect" and "effect".

I think effect is the right word from opebo's worldview.

Well observed.

I doubt that you believe that one's marketability is the sole factor producing one's behavior, or even the primary one, in which case, "effect" is the wrong word. If you truly do believe everything an be reduced to marketability, you are even shallower than I thought you were.

Depends upon what is meant by 'behavior', doesn't it?

LOL That is true, tho I myself don't usually restrict the term "behavior" to just "relaxation", be brief or otherwise, I will concede that opebo might well do that since that at times seems to be the only behavior he's interested in.

I was baptized and confirmed in the Greek Orthodox Church, which apparently means I can visit Mount Athos if I want to (restricted to Orthodox males over 18).

Are cell phones allowed there? If so it'd be a great place to play Ingress.

State Comptroller: Topinka (R-inc.) wins reelection, her 5th statewide election victory. I just don't see anyone voting for someone who looks UGLY.

More election insight from great visionary TX Conservative Dem.

To be fair, for an office such as State Comptroller, those downballot elections are essentially beauty contests.

Not only is it pretty misogynist and is the least of Simon's problems, it's also implying that a seventy year old woman is attractive.

Isn't thinking that a seventy year old woman can't be attractive rather ageist?

I really never understood why people post timelines in this thread, unless we're grading them on grammar alone. They don't have to be realistic.

The words of someone who's never really dabbled in the genre.

Considering the popularity of the Drakaverse, it's fairly clear that timelines don't have to be realistic to be a success.

I find this absurd because the root cause of the dispute referenced in that thread is a difference of opinion concerning what constitutes health care. That insurance is involved is merely the reason the dispute involves public policy.

What a joke. People just don't understand what health insurance is.

If he'd written: "People just don't understand what health care is." I don't think I'd have posted this here, but maybe one of our more conservative posters would have.
