I'm really bummed to hear this, Hagrid. Sad You were a fantastic chairman, and you should know we'll all miss you. Thank you for all of the help you've given me in this game, I'll certainly never forget it.

First of all, I would like to that, like everybody else here, I will miss my friend Hagrid very much. Sad

As for official business, I think it would probably be best to do the leadership vote across a weekend, so I will open up nominations this upcoming Wednesday. Meanwhile, we should also open up endorsements for the Senate election and any regional elections going on this month, which will voted on alongside the leadership election.

Well, I respected you - that's more than I can for a lot of people in this game. Your line of work is tiresome and the st gets old after a while, so I can sympathize. It'll be interesting to see which direction the Federalists go in after this - it was an interesting dynamic to see the two largest parties led by people who were not around for dissolution. We'll see if that holds steady, I suppose.

It's quite common in Atlasia that party chairmen are Senators at the same time, just look at Hagrid or the current and past chairmen of other parties. Wink

I will support Maxwell if he wants the job.

Statement on Partisanship

I have heard some have concern over my partisanship. I acknowledge that I have endorsed candidates across the spectrum, and that's a quality of me as a bipartisan Governor of the Midwest. I also acknowledge that its a different role than the leader of a partisan organization. As chairman of the party, I will fight for Federalist causes, endorse Federalist candidates, and win every race we can. I don't think there needs to be any worry of where my mind will be when I am at the the helm, I hope that quells some concerns.
