Is there any legitimate reason to have a seven day waiting period? If you're registered to vote before the election starts, you should be able to participate. I think it's a simple proposition. I don't imagine its a good impression people get when they first cast a vote and it doesn't even get to be counted, even though they were signed up.

This bill is dealing with registered voters, not unregistered voters.
