I originally voted the moderate hero option and was going to give a full explanation as to why he hasn't been that bad, but I can't give a good reason as to why he should stay on the job at this point. He's easily the worst cabinet member of Obama's administration. HP.

I don't understand the hate for Eric Holder.

To me, he's a great career DOJ lawyer.  He's had an incredible career and proved that he's a fair, non-partisan guy.  If you're comparing Holder to Gonzo or John Ashcroft, it's really no contest. 

I think people must not understand that Holder runs a giant bureaucracy that exists to prosecute people.  You don't make a lot of friends with lawsuits.  I can totally understand having a problem with how the DOJ works and I do.  But, to lay that at Holder's feet is ridiculous.  Don't hate the player, hate the game.

The reason why AGs tend to be awful is that they are all "successful" prosecutors, and a big plus in that line of work, being "successful"-wise, is to be a sociopath.  Their behavior also reflects on those who tell them what to do, of course.

Eric Holder is incompetent, probably because he substitutes political judgment for legal judgment.  Terrible attorney general.

Of course, he should also tell the Republicans in congress to fuck off, as we all should, so that's how I voted.  Having that option pretty much trumps all other options.
